Palmera Camp Wadi Rum

Let's start with the good things: The staff is really, really nice, they try everything to help, even though most of them don't speak English. The food was extremely good! We ate there every evening and it was perfect. The location of the camp is wonderful, the view is amazing, but when you hear the name ''luxury'' camp and when you pay over 500 USD/night you expect different. - The whole camp was a construction site, they were building a reception/lobby and some more tents, so during the day was very noisy and we also could not use the whole infrastructure - There is no internet in the room, only in one tiny spot at the construction site you had internet connection - It's really difficult to explore Wadi Rum without Guide, therefore we asked for a guide for the next day at 6 a.m. to see the sunrise and do a tour. I asked two times if it will work, they confirmed. The guide did not show up... and we could not arrange for another guide, as the whole camp was sleeping. We were very disappointed. - The room was not clean when we checked-in and was also not cleaned daily. The light in the bathroom and in the room itself is very poor. - The water in the Jacuzzi was yellow, which kept me from using it. - The food/drinks at the camp are very expensive - There is no first aid kit at the camp which is in my opinion with all the construction going on and considering that you are 1,5h away from the next hospital, a big risk. They are just not prepared.
