A long way from a 5 star hotel…. More like 3 stars. Checkin experience was awful. When I booked over the phone I was told it included Spa entry. When I wanted to go for swim they charge €40 extra. Very disappointing! Rooms are tired and need upgrading. Feels more like a golf hostel/pension and not a 5 star hotel. Don’t be fooled by the description of the hotel on their website like I was and expecting a luxury 5 star weekend

We came for a round of golf through golf breaks. As soon as you drive in you know you're at a really special golf course. The greens, the fairways, everything is immaculate. Its a really tricky course but very enjoyable. If you're not straight it will punish your score card as some of the rough is very long and hard to get out of. The fun stopped there as the service and general attitude of the staff in the club house was borderline obnoxious. Very rude, not interested in serving a group of English golfers. Empty glasses on most table and general cleanliness was not great. A real shame as left a sour taste for the experience

The place is great for golfers and families on vacation with great facilities and a nice beach close by, but the speed at service is slow, rigid on the rules; you can spend a 1000 bucks on a meal but they wont allow you to charge your car unless hosted.... that's just an example on the culture of the employees. Don't take me wrong ; they are nice and polite but can't handle challenges.
