What a wonderful experience! I went right when they opened without a reservation. The man I spoke to said they were fully booked, but if I could be out by a certain time they’d fit me in. I was sat at a lovely table in the wine cellar and was quickly greeted with a smile. As a solo diner, I’ve had the experience of being treated as less important or simply forgotten about. That definitely was not my experience here! Even with my time restraint I never felt rushed or that I was needed to leave. I ordered the wild boar with polenta and it was absolutely delicious. Food, service, atmosphere all 5 stars! will definitely be back

Really great meal. I think 95% of the restaurant was full of Americans (us included). It was kind of nice though to discuss travels with others in a similar situation. Has a good authentic feel to it clientele aside. My only knock was they only had one toilet and the sink wasn’t working so you had to use bottled water to wash your hands. It’s a pretty large place so one toilet caused a long time waiting. That’s my one and only complaint though. The veal cheek was amazing. The pasta dish had a really great spice to it. Both were very good. We got the house red which was also good and the tiramisu for dessert was a great way to end the meal. I think 3 of the tables around us said they had been back to back nights and one table had been three straight so that’s a pretty good indication of how good it was.
