Rooms were clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The continental buffet breakfast had something for everyone. Facilities were great. My kids particularly loved the water slides and so did I! The gym was pretty good. It has a steam room and jacuzzi too, which was lovely. There were activities and entertainment going on every day including a snake show, a balloon twisting man, free ice cream, etc. I just wish the resort included the use of some non-motorised water sports such as sailing, kayaking, surfing, stand up paddle boarding as it used to do in the past.

This is our second time staying here, and we absolutely love it. The resort feels clean and well maintained, and most importantly the staff are always friendly and accommodating. The gentleman who serviced our room, Pradeep, was amazing. My daughter looked forward to seeing the new towel sculptures he made for us everyday. Our room was always well maintained and clean, and he always greeted us with a smile. On the days we chose to stay at the resort we were kept busy on the slides, playing volleyball in the pool, playing table tennis, or trying out the water sports available on the beach (for an additional charge). Overall we can't fault this place, and will definitely stay here if we return to Penang

Perfect place for a quick getaway with kids. This place really tries to be as kid friendly as possible and during Christmas, they do have plenty of programs. We stayed in the deluxe king room and it was spacious and tidy. My only pet peeve is that the bathroom doesn't have any locks. The resort has plenty of activities and a busy beach side. All in all, well worth the money spent.

The superior room was surprisingly "superior" to the deluxe. All amenities were available in the superior room but many were left out in the deluxe room. Luckily, the housekeeping was able to provide at a later stage. Will have to compliment Manu who had been the housekeeper during our stay. He was friendly and provided service with a smile. The hotel itself was fantastic. Great pool, nice bar and a lovely house cafe. Service was cordial and courteous though I'd expected more from a 5 star hotel.

Stayed for 4 days 3 nights. At first underwhelmed by the hotel and setting but it grew on us and ended up being a lovely holiday. The service by the staff, especially round the pools, outdoor bar and concierge is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very good: bed was really comfortable, bathroom clean and overall spacious. We had deluxe facing in-land but it was perfect for our stay. The breakfast is ok, coffee really good, service excellent, the food choice is quite varied but quality was below average when compared with other 5* hotels in Malaysia. The beach has a lot of vendors offering horse riding and other sea activities, they do disrupt quiet walks by the sea. Our children enjoyed the pool slides, water park and the pools. We played a lot of table tennis and there was an activity schedule but we didn't join anything. Overall a very relaxing stay, the grounds are not as visually impressive as other hotels but the location is excellent for the night market and restaurants, and the staff really help make the experience highly enjoyable.
