I've just had a lovely two week stay at the Pearl River Hotel. Everything about the hotel is great, but the absolute best thing about this hotel is the staff. Every single member of staff we met in the hotel was incredibly helpful, kind and polite. They welcomed us and made us feel right at home. Every request we had from having to change our booking dates, calling taxis for us, and helping me when I forgot the room safe combination (whoops!), was dealt with efficiently and with grace. Honestly, the staff are wonderful, and I would like to give a special thank you to Hang, who works at reception. I would definitely reccomend the buffet breakfast, and all the room service meals were very flavoursome and beautifully presented. When I next visit Haiphong, I will definitely be staying the Pearl River.

The staff is very nice and that is 100% nice they are the best part. But the not being able to work or sleep because of music in the pool area and the construction upstairs before 8 am makes it hard. Also the quick change in policies such as you can no longer take the breakfast that you PAID for up to your room or you will be charged even more money. Or the cleaning service coming into your room without knocking. They slowly are taking away things they promised and that you pay for.
