Right near an awesome beach, great swimming and decent music to listen to while relaxing in a cabana. The Lohan cabana was 60 Euro for the day and great service at the beach. The staff at the hotel were nice, helpful and friendly. Rooms are not the best, but has a good breakfast buffet.

Perfect 👌 The staff,the view,the room,the food, everything was perfect. We had a great time relaxing by the pool. And very near to one of the best beaches of the island at Kalo Livadi.We certainly will be back!

This is a great place if you are a you-tuber or instagrammer and are staying for 24 / 48 hours, the photos/videos are epic Greek Island clickbait. If your a family staying for a few days or more, find somewhere else. Only interested in how much money you're willing to spend, rooms are very basic and poorly constructed, and arranged on a very steep slope. The property is situated at the end of a busy single-track lane at the bottom of a steep hill without any public bus service. There are no facilities (shops / restaurants) nearby, you have to go up the hill, on foot, on the road - there's no pavement. Management was appalling, everything was too much trouble. Props to the restaurant and serving team and cleaners - stand-out excellent service (that you would hope for on your holiday). The rest of them ? They don't deserve their jobs.

First and foremost, I strongly advise against considering Penelope Village for your accommodation. Our experience from the moment we arrived left much to be desired. Upon arrival for check-in, it was evident that the staff was overwhelmed. We were informed that our room would be ready by 3 pm, but by 4 pm, no one had contacted us, so we inquired. To our surprise, our room was suddenly available, and the receptionist appeared equally astonished. Furthermore, when we asked about taxi services, we were told that there were no taxis on the entire island – a claim that later proved to be untrue. The disappointment didn't end there, as the dining experience was another letdown. They charged 25€ per person for the evening buffet, which, in all honesty, was the worst buffet we've ever encountered. The food selection was minimal and of low quality, with no dessert options available. The cafeteria staff was rather pushy as well. It's important to note that the hotel's location is quite isolated. There are no nearby grocery stores or bus stops, making it practically impossible to explore the surroundings. To top it all off, during check-out, we were presented with a bill that included more nights than we had actually stayed, and we were even charged for the subpar buffet twice. In summary, our stay at Penelope Village was a massive disappointment, and I would strongly recommend considering alternative accommodations.

If you want the most bang for your buck, i highly recommend staying here… We were a family of four staying for 6 nights, we booked 2 standard rooms, but upon check-in i was surprised that we got one of the rooms free upgraded to bigger “suite” , can’t complain! Breakfast was included , it had everything we needed , it was clean and delicious, we could’ve used more variety though but again we stayed here for a relatively longer period. We enjoyed the pool everyday it was clean and with plenty of seating spots, also the beach of kalo livadi which is a 2 minute walk from the hotel next to a couple of beachfront clubs Should you need one. Rooms are clean and well equipped. There are plenty of parking spots for your rental cars ( which you should definitely consider it, because there are no buses that lead to kalo livadi beach as of recent ) whom Elena from the front desk was so nice to help us book one ( for the best price we found in mykonos by the way) from a good nearby office… which brings me to the most important point , the employees !!! They were always attentive and ready to help no matter how busy it was, with a smile on their face… especially Andrea, Anna Maria & Evy from the food & beverage , and also Elena from the front desk was super helpful and caring. As a person who has been working in the hotel industry for 8+ years, I involuntarily have an eye for detail and maybe higher than usual personal standards … overall we were very pleased here and would highly recommend it.
