A star is too much.... My stay at Pensión Arosa was a deeply disappointing experience. The owner or receptionist displayed a complete lack of manners, which was evident when I had to endure a significant delay in receiving my room key, despite the hotel's 1 pm policy, due to tardy cleaning staff. To compound my frustration, on the checkout day, at 10:55 am, the owner knocked on my door, overly insistent about the 11 am checkout time, causing unnecessary irritation. The hotel's amenities were subpar, with no air-conditioning, leaving me with the din of three noisy fans. The shared bathroom facilities were also lacking in cleanliness, raising concerns about hygiene. Additionally, prior to my arrival, I followed the booking instructions diligently, making over 15 calls to provide my estimated check-in time, as advised 24 hours before arrival. Shockingly, none of my calls were answered, leaving me uncertain about the hotel's readiness to receive guests. In conclusion, Pensión Arosa failed to meet even the most basic standards of professionalism and hospitality. I strongly discourage choosing this hotel, as it not only disappoints but also demonstrates questionable billing practices, as I was initially charged more for the city tax, only corrected when I pointed out the discrepancy.
