To start with, the owner of the apartment was so friendly with us she explained everything from the scratch, and for the security there are CCTV cameras all over the place + the main entrance to the apartments is secured with a password to prevent strangers from coming in. After that for the cleanness ,every day a maid will come to clean the place and change the towels and linens. Last but not least, the location is near to the istiklal street (about 10 min walk ). For my next visit to Istanbul, I will be happy to repeat this experience again.

I stayed at Pera Neuf for 2 nights and I had very bad experience with it, almost feel like I got scammed! On the positive side, the location was very good, in the center of everything and so close to Galata tower and all the restaurants. However, on the negative side, there were some issues that made my stay so uncomfortable. (1)First of all, there is no elevator and the room is on the fourth floor. When I mentioned that, the owner became super defensive saying that it was written on Expedia. (2) What was not on Expedia though was the fact that they do not have working AC. When I complained about it, the owner said someone would come as early as possible next day to fix it. Of course no one came and it was unbearably hot in the tiny apartment. (3) Also, the picture of the balcony do not represent the reality. The view from the balcony was not as nice as shown on the website and looks inwards to the ugly rooftops, so the pictures do not represent the reality. (4) Also the room was not double room as described, but rather a tiny room with a double bad and a couch (unless they made us pay for another room, while gave us completely different room). I would not recommend this room to anyone, and felt a little bit scammed.

NOT a hotel NOT family friendly NOT a safe approach NO food available NO daily room service NOT in a great location EXPENSIVE for what it is DID NOT FEEL SAFE This place labels itself as a five star hotel on google which caused us to book this place. We at least expected a boutique hotel at the bare minimum!! This is a bunch of 7 apartments with a very steep set of stairs leading up to them! They don’t feel safe at all ! There is no food available on premises. The in room cleaning is only once in two days ! They do not refresh the toiletries during cleaning . We were a family of 3 and they only provided us with towels for two . We had a kid and no crib was provided / offered. The approach is so so steep that I was scared every morning and every neighs while taking my daughter up the stairs. This is NOT family friendly! Did not feel safe. The area where it is located is super super noisy. I had to put ear plugs on one night. Also it is very far from the main Taksim area and closer to Galata tower.

Perfect hotel. My fiancee and I stayed for four nights and loved everything. The room is stylish, modern, and impeccably clean. We love the balcony and the big comfortable bed. The owner is very friendly and hospitable. Some people might say the rooms are small, but we think the size is perfect! Lots of light in the room and it's quiet at night. There is no elevator and you have to walk up the stairs, so if you have a big suitcase bring someone strong with you. 12/10
