I loved this hotel and the personnel is just so helpful and nice. Our room was so cute and clean... Great location close to the bus stop, a supermarket and just 10 min walking from the beach. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel but there's a wonderful pastry shop right in front that makes super tasty pizzas, sweets, etc. Highly recommended!

Overall, AMAZING experience! Friendly husband and wife team/owners. Location is great w/the grocery store right across the street; however, the hotel was a little hard to spot at night. We arrived very late, but the service was impeccable. The room was clean and comfortable. The water was not very hot for showers, but that wasn't an issue to me. The water tasted a little salty when I brushed my teeth as well, so I rinsed with bottle water. The grounds were well kept and beautiful. Shuttle to and from the airport are not free. The black sand beach was within walking distance, but recommend some durable sandals/beach shoes. The sand was very hot and my $1.00 flip flops were not having it. I thoroughly enjoyed my first trip to Santorini and my experience at Petra Nera. The best part was the time spent with my hubby. Thanks for taking the time to read my review.

Owners Yannis and Isabella are friendly, helpful and very hospitable. Yannis made suggestions and set up a tour. In general Santorini was a relaxing, beautiful experience. I highly suggest bringing beach/water shoes. There is accessible local transportation (mostly connect through the capital Fira), although you may have to wait approx 1/2 hour at times. Again, excellent service for a 3 star hotel.
