The hotel is just a few minute walk to the town of Fira. Great location with beautiful views. However, the rooms need a little updates, specially the bathrooms. We had two rooms for a family of 5 and I was not impressed with the decor, maintenance and the mattresses in the rooms. The pool area was way too small; the pool itself was nice but not enough space to relax, not really inviting. Their breakfast was good and fresh. The hotel does have excellent customer service. Luca at the front desk was excellent....he went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed, he made many reservations during our trip, provided many tips of the area and really took great care of all of us. I will visit again just for the service.

The hotel is just OK. The location is not far from the city centre, but the service is poor. We needed to check out early (7:40am) but as breakfast starts at 08:00am, we were not able to have a quick one despite the 20-minute of difference. We had already paid for the breakfast, so we lost the money. Will not come back here and would not recommend it either.

Perfection!! My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in late April. The best thing about the Philippion Boutique Hotel is the staff. Luca (sorry if I misspelled your name), the front desk manager, was so helpful, friendly, and professional. He made my wife and I feel special, like a friend or family. He had great recommendations for places to go and things to do. The food was delicious, especially the meatballs. Everything was priced fairly and affordably. Santorini wines are delicious too. The rooms we always clean. The cleaning staff was polite. They cleaned daily. The rooms had beautiful views. Ours was especially beautiful at sunrise. Great location! Close to Fira, which is the central hub for transportation. My wife and I were on somewhat tight budget, so we took public busses. They were clean and nice tour busses. Very convenient. Fira is also where most of the nightlife is. We went to many great bars and had delicious food too. When we come back in the future, we will definitely stay here again. We literally have no complaints. We highly recommend staying at the Philippion!

I usually read all the bad reviews before going somewhere and I saw many regarding hot water. During the 5 night my family stayed, we had no hot water issues whatsoever, in fact we had no issues to report at all! It is only 10 mins away from the town center. All staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, really made our first holiday as a family easy. Even allowed us an extra hour after check out in the room so I could get the children ready. Thank you to all staff for being amazing with us!
