Rooms are small but clean. The owner is super sweet. Can’t beat the price and location, is perfect if you plan on being out all day and really just need somewhere to store your bags and sleep

A large hostel on a small back street, very close to weekend night market, restaurants and mini marts. The reception is open to 6 p.m. but the staff is around to help you even later. O had no problems checking in after 10 p.m. I chose a small budget room with a double bed, private toilet and shower. The room had a chair, flat TV and shelves for storage and as a table - very handy. There was a refrigerator as well. A large window was facing the concrete wall of the neighboring house, but let a little bit of light in and provided ventilation. It is a decent accommodation at a good price. They have a kitchen where breakfast is served and you can get common Thai dishes at competitive prices. Friendly staff will assist you in any way and their knowledge of English is OK. Washing machines are available, at a low cost. I will give this budget hostel 5 stars for service provided at an excellent price. The one negative thing was a smelly shower and drain. They tried fixing it by placing a plastic bag with water over the drain. I temporarily fixed it by pouring disinfectant all over the floor and drain. I have booked this hostel for my next stay too.

I stayed here for 6 months while touring around northern Thailand. Mrs. Pen and the team at Phrasing Guesthouse are so helpful, kind, and caring. They always ask about your stay and try to do everything they can to accommodate you during your stay. I will never stay at another guesthouse in Chiang Mai again. They are hands down the best people and the best guesthouse to stay at.

The best place : owner is cool, vertu smiling, all the staff witch is pleasant. Room are good and we have possibilities of washing our lundry any time. There is a sympathic menu made on that specific time. No one enters in your room pretexting a cleaning that's never done like in Mae Ping Home were they stolled 3000 baths, trowned two of my things away and the owner acts as a really disturbed person. This wont happened here in phrasingh guest house. The place is quiet and well located. I recommand.
