Theoxenia Hotel is, in my.opinion, one of the best hotels in Piraeus. The location is excellent, between the city centre and the port and with public transportation for all destinations close by. The rooms are always excellent and comfy and very soundproof! The swimming pool, which I visited in summer, is small but very nice and with a hood view to the port. The breakfast is delicious!

Phew! This place really saved us. Our ferry to Hydra had been canceled and we were looking for a last-minute hotel. We ended up getting the very last room in this place. Our expectations are absolutely bias, because it saved us, but we enjoyed the Rooftop pool and the breakfast the next day very much. Everyone we encountered was very kind and welcoming. The bed was so soft! Great view of the harbor

We stayed recently one night before boarding a cruise, and very happy with the hotel overall. Arrived early and the friendly man at reception (Vassilis as I remember) put us directly into a much larger room that was ready and available -- free upgrade straight away so we were very happy. Our room was large and comfortable with a more traditional style but nothing out-of-date, AC worked well and bed was comfortable. We dined in the hotel and enjoyed our dinner very much, tasty and large portions with excellent Greek wine. A very friendly waitress took good care of us. Breakfast buffet was quite good, plenty of variety and well--prepared. Good location as well, we arrived from airport on the X96 bus which drops off a few blocks away, and the new metro station is a few blocks in the other direction, so the hotel is central between the two. We even walked to the cruise terminal the next morning because we had the time and energy, so we could sight-see a bit before boarding the ship. If lacking one or the other, then call a taxi and it would be a short drive to the terminal. Great hotel and worthy of five stars from us.

Excellent hotel, well positioned for cruise port. A 45-minute drive from Athens International Airport. Rooms spacious with king bed. Plenty of storage. Bathroom modern with amenities - hairdryer, slippers, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, shower caps. Heavy duty blackout curtains for light and traffic noise. Fully cooked breakfast included. Parking available - must have compact small car as parking underground via an elevator. Parking was an extra cost, but it was worth it for security. Staff, Harry, and Vasilli went the extra mile to help with directions to local shops and any extra needs for our room. Dining room staff were super friendly, and most spoke English very well. Bring your own washcloth or similar if you're used to bathing with one as they are unfamiliar with them. Having said that, the staff provided extra hand towels to use in their absence. Cannot fault them in any way. Rooms made up every day and amenities used were replaced.
