I guess I almost never write a review unless I really like somewhere - so it won’t be a surprise that I loved this place. As everywhere in Cambodia, the people are absolutely charming, so kind, modest and helpful if you show them a little respect. Politeness matters- getting angry is taboo here. It’s a beautifully designed hotel with lots of jungle gardens and pools - both swimming and ornamental. The food and drinks in the poolside restaurant are nice and there is a fine dining option upstairs. Our room had a terrace that walked straight out poolside and the whole experience was delightful.

What a stunning hotel, sadly I only had one night here, but it was a fantastic end to my holiday. Although the hotel is in a busy location it's super quiet and peacful, I loved the layout and jungle resort feel. The staff are very friendly and helpful, breakfast had a good range and there were plenty of spaces to hang out by the pool. The layout of the room was beautifully designed and beds comfy. Very hard to fault, a must visit in Phnom Penh.

We booked this place for the start of our honeymoon trip, and it was really excellent! Lovely pool with lots of greenery, such a relaxing spot on a hot day. Our room was nice and quiet, with a very comfy bed and a little balcony overlooking a green patch. A honeymoon cake was delivered to our door free of charge. The breakfast buffet was amazing. And the hotel could not be better located, very close to the royal palace. Would definitely recommend booking this hotel, we would go back!

Not an exaggeration when I say that this is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Beautiful hotel with clean crisp rooms and a gorgeous private pool. What made this 5 stars more than anything is the staff. They were the most lovely accommodating and genuine people. I will miss their warmth. I would recommend this hotel to anyone! The hotel is also in a good location to see almost every highlight of Phnom Penh

We have travelled and stayed in many really good hotels but Plantation has got to be one of the most memorable. It has all the comforts of a hotel but also you still feel like you are in Phnom Penh. The landscaping is amazing and the hospitality is amazing (communicating was sometimes a little challenging, but they were so friendly and accommodating and because it is a smaller hotel, after the first day it feels like the people working there recognise you and wave and smile) - it felt really warm. Our bedroom TV was not working when we arrived but the team got it working the next day and were really apologetic and offered a small compensation - we really appreciate the gesture. We spent our Christmas holiday there and stayed in the penthouse. The suite was large and spacious and very comfortable. We also had Christmas dinner at the poolside which was fun and festive. The hotel also sent handmade cards (made by local kids from the school next door) and cookies to each room - which was a lovely touch. The only downside was that the penthouse is not accessible via lift and it is a little bit of a walk from the pool (where we liked to spend our time) - especially for my dad who is in his 70s. We might consider booking two or more rooms for our family in the future and forgoing the penthouse, even if it means giving up the huge terrace and spacious bathrooms, a tough call. The poolside is my favourite place and I would honestly give other inward-facing luxury accommodations for this oasis.
