Do not. I repeat, do not stay here. Such a confusing process to check in. The main foyer on the ground floor reeks of rubbish and rotting food. When you get to "reception " it looks like a bomb site and this is where they sting you for the $200 security deposit that was never mentioned until then, also the $25 per night for the car park that I was assured twice over the phone was free. Then comes the room, what a joke. No room to swing a cat, definitely some photo shopping going on on the website. The air-conditioning was blowing warm moist air out, I checked the filters and they were clogged with dirt. When ringing "reception " I was told house keeping had gone home and nothing could be done until tomorrow. I cleaned the filters myself but didn't really make a lot of difference. The apartment is dirty the beds are dirty but comfortable the shower was just gross. Really I have nothing good to say about my stay except I was glad to leave.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. When getting into bed we noticed dried blood all over the sheets. It was absolutely disgusting and had to strip the bed and sleep with no sheets. When complaining they denied it and tried to tell me in was “fresh blood” when it quite obviously wasn’t. There was also a condom under the bed. Beyond unhygienic and appalling on the way they handled it. It also had a musky smell to the apartment. Was in a good location but they was the only positive.

This place is amazing, it’s weird going into the hotel but it was amazing when we went into the rooms. Everything was clean, and the view was nice. I seen bad review like 1 Star but from my experience is was truly amazing. I would go to this place again. It’s central of everything and the price was cheap. Definitely jump on Agonda and book early to get cheap prices.

Overall the room is nice for a few nights stay. I had read the reviews prior to our stay so knew to expect it to be smaller then the photos as many had said. What I didnt like was them asking for $200 deposit that was not mentioned prior to booking, and after we had already fully paid. The only time this was mentioned was via text message and not through airbnb which was slightly suspicious. There were a few marks, dirty dishes in dishwasher and grime on shower. One thing that also annoyed me a bit was the fact there was no doona covers... just the dooner. Despite all this it was a very nice view, and close by to the main CBD. It is a very good location to be close to the main shopping centre, heaps of restaurants and public transport. I think if the airbnb listing was more transparant, and the presentation of the room was better it would be excellent, and help with some of these seemingly common reviews.

Firstly, it was a bit confusing to find, there is no signage indicating what it is, and than calling through the intercom was confusing. Once we got to “reception” both my partner and I were really confused on what he was requesting of us and what we needed to do regarding check out. When we got to our room, the power was turned off, so had to call up. The bed was two single mattress pushed together, so that was pretty uncomfortable. Besides that, it was pretty decent and nice view.
