Just wanted to give a shout out to Victor and the staff at the hotel. I arrived early and they promptly took care of me. While my room was not yet ready, Victor at the front desk made sure to let me know what to expect and how to pass the time while waiting. The whole check-in process was a breeze and as soon as my room was ready, they notified me. I later told Victor the rest of my group of 19 was also coming to the hotel under separate reservations. He didnt skip a beat and made sure they were all taken care of at arrival. Superior service from Victor! As I walked through the hotel, everyone knew my name. I like this location because it's close to everything and the food is good. Wifi and cellphone service is very spotty.

Do NOT fall for the scam of them giving you 500$ to use at the spa or restaurant or gold etc and all you need to do is listen to a 1.5 hour presentation on the hotel trying to get you to buy timeshares with their properties. We wasted our vacation time with that and did not get to receive the 500$ because they claim they made it clear it needed to be “after” the presentation. Complete lie! Ended up paying the regular price at the spa. Did not receive any discount or credit like they promised. This place is full of scammers and creeps. If your looking for a nice relaxing place to go solo or with family, steer clear of here. There isn’t so much as one beach chair ..

Great location close to 5 th Avenue. The ferry to Cozumel is a 5 min walk next door. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Food is good. Service is impeccable. We go yearly and love it every time!

This has a great beach, but the hotel is right in the middle of a busy shopping plaza and lots of other locals are able to come harass you and crash on the beach. It is close to the ferries that go out to Cozumel, so that’s a plus if you plan on frequenting Cozumel, but it also makes for a lot of traffic nearby. The beach area in front of the hotel is also not very large, but it typically is good, calm beach for families to play in. The amenities are not as nice as other Moon Palace resorts, the hotel could definitely use a renovation and upgrade. You service isn’t as accommodating or friendly as it was in the past years. You can no longer eat food on the beach, for example, you have to be up on the pool deck which can be challenging if you want to monitor your kids playing in the surf. Not bad, but not great. Mid resort at best.
