We booked for 2 nights at Polis Apartments and it was very good. We were going to check in late and they sent us late check in information a day before so when we went there everything was easy. Parked the car outside for the night and removed it next morning. The space inside was good,clean and with a very nice smell. Toilet also was clean. Heat system was fantastic. Tv had only local channels and wifi most of the time was a little bit slow. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Definitely worth it.

We spend nearly two weeks in this hotel. We liked privacy it offers good location close to centre or bus station. Bed is exceptional as was blackout curtains. It isn’t typical 4* hotel or apartment it is both. It misses some hotel facilities as minibar or breakfast but offers room cleaning unlike renting apartment. Overall experience was good and we had nice stay. If I have to pinpoint some negatives it’s poor soundproofing we could hear door buzzer and guests in the hallway. Alarm definitely needs upgrade as it’s blinking gives out horror movie vibes at night.(reception was able to help with alarm) Hotel personnel is nice and does it’s job very well. Cleanliness is at high level but room check could be more thorough as top of door frame was ripped and some cream from other guests was bellow sink when we arrived.If these can be somewhat fixed it can go from good to exceptional. Thank for having us it was nice staying in this hotel.

Not as described. It was not a very comfortable place to stay and I think it’s overpriced for what it is. Strange how the rating is so high. It’s not a hotel and not luxurious, it’s just a bunch of apartments with a concierge. And it’s certainly not star rated, there were pretty much no amenities. Zero soundproofing; we were kept up all night by noise in the stairwell, buzzer going off, loud voices from other rooms etc. and we were in a QUIET room. Plus the cheap fridge was noisy. Ancient TV that can’t do streaming or casting. There was satellite but the cable was broken. Two technicians came to fix it at 10pm but then the only channels in English were BBC and ComedyCentral. Light pollution in the room. We booked the room through hotels.com and the photos in the ad were of a much bigger room …(comfort suite) and it promised some silly welcome gift that didn’t happen. The staff was lovely though, and they apologies for the troubles, offered us a fridge magnet and a bottle of wine which was a nice gesture. But yeah, I’m not coming back.

Definitely not 4 star hotel. Not even a hotel but apartment rental with quite low standard. We booked through a certain website and got a totally different room than in the picture. Very noisy even though we got the quiet room. The tv was not working. Not worth the price. You can find better and closer to the city for this price. The positive is only that the staff working in the reception was very nice and tried to help even though they couldn’t do much.

Just to make it clear, giving 2 stars as their website says "luxury appartments" which is not the case. If you are looking for a cheap one night stay, it's ok probably. I had room #12 with "courtyard view" meaning you get a one person balcony where you need to squeze by the AC to get outside and enjoy the favella view as there is no courtyard. The room itself is decent, bed and pillows are not the most confortable but still clean. The ftidge in the room is noisy, I had to turn it off to be able to sleep. Worst part is the toilet, no photos on their website will show it. Looks like it's a repurposed storage room, it's less than 1.5 square meters, has a VERY low ceiling, smells bad, the shower is leaking, no sufficient light. Really feels like you are trapped in an elevator.
