Visiting for the first time and booked a room here. The view was indeed amazing, however, get ready to put on your hiking shoes and everything is slopped. You'll be treading steps left and right. They had guys that helped us with getting our luggage from the entrance to your room, which was a great thing since the entrance to the rooms are quite a hike. Breakfast was also very good. They gave you a list of things you can pick from and mix and match. Now for the negatives. First off, customer service could be better. There was no instructions on how to use the hot tub. And when we went to ask for help, all they said was that it takes time. We were not aware that for sucha small tub, the heater was only capable of increasing the temperature of the water by 2-3C per hour. Also, as others have mentioned, the complimentary items were not great. We only got 1 water bottle and was told we have to purchase additional ones.

Overall, unfortunately I think this hotel is over priced and quite poor. The staff are not helpful and quite lazy. For the price our expectation was far greater than we got. Same breakfast each day, breakfast was cold, additional charges for cappuccino coffee or coffee outside of a small list. Received only one bottle of water complimentary across our 3 night stay. No staff by the pool to assist you with food orders, towels or general service. The sun beds and cushion material get so hot that you need multiple towels to protect yourself. Yes, the view is great - but they price according to the view only as their service is incredibly poor. Staff expect tips for everything despite, in our view paying a significant premium to stay at this hotel. Non smoking hotel - yet staff were smoking in front of us. The room was fine - no issues or complaints. Our advice is to stay next door at Alfina - friends stayed there (which was cheaper) but had none of these issues. We ended up leaving a day early.

This place is stunning. If you are reading this, you should seriously book here. We splurged a bit, but honestly if you have the budget this is the place to do so. We stayed here 2 nights. Our room had a huge balcony with a view overlooking the caldera and Fira. We also had a hot tub. Beds were comfortable. They were helpful in organizing tours. We did the sunset catamaran tour. Breakfast was food, delivered to your room. If you are debating staying Fira or Oia, I think both are reasonable options. Oia will have slightly nicer views (classic blue topped roof, etc), but prices will be much more expensive, with smaller rooms, etc. We just took the bus for 1.60 euro to Oia, took our photos, etc. You can also do the hike from Fira to Oia which I highly recommend. Overall fantastic experience.

I have come back from Greece and still miss this place. The hotel is so beautiful and the view from the room and the swimming pool is so spectacular. If there is a need, the counter and the staff are both very helpful. Although there are some stairs, but it didn't bother me and the staff will help with the luggage. Highly recommended and want to come back to stay here again.

The hotel was ok. We normally stay at 4/5 star hotels. The best part was the view from the pool. Overall I didn’t consider it good value for money for example it’s €2 for extra coffee nestle pods (you are only given 2) so you can’t even make a double espresso each & €15 more each if you want a small cooked breakfast (bacon etc). We advised them the shower was backing up & the overhead shower head was broken - it wasn’t fixed. They seem to nickel and dime you at every step and expect a tip for it. We don’t come from a tipping culture but do appreciate the concept when earned. The receptionist clearly hates her job - move on hun - life is to short. Not a quiet peaceful hotel. One of the hotels next door has a club atmosphere going well past midnight. Yes there are steps - they didn’t bother us. We stayed in the honeymoon suite. Very good location to the town - bus stop etc We stayed at the end of May. 5/6 cruse ships dock daily.
