We stayed here for four nights. Our experience was largely positive, with an exception here and there. With our arrival, we were received well by a friendly receptionist. The room itself was good, and the aircon functional, but noisy. Being located in Sea Point Cape Town is convenient as it is close to the most prominent amenities. Unfortunately, there were 3 matters that caused a bit of inconvenience. Firstly our room was not serviced when we arrived back on the first day. This was, however, quickly attended to when we brought it to their attention. Another time, we asked for a few more sugar sachets from the receptionist as the ones they provided in the room were not enough. The gentleman assisting us made a little bit of a fuss over that, and we did not expect that, yet he did give us anyway. Lastly, in the basement parking, security allowed a guess to cross park several vehicles blocking them in, including ours. The guest had to be contacted in the early hours, and this delayed us with 20 minutes as reception struggled to trace the driver. In conclusion, our stay was good and we can recommend this hotel as it was reasonably priced as well. It will be appreciated, though, if management can attend to some issues.

Booked and paid for Christmas lunch a month in advance. Got there, only to be told our table isn't ready. After 45 minutes. We were seated in a room separate to the restaurant. By the time we we had our starters, people were dishing their mains. No plates and there was hardly anything left. Warren, who was the manager on duty was so unprofessional as he joked around while I was telling him how unsatisfied I was. The worst Christmas lunch ever. I'm still waiting for them to get back to me.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Premier hotel in Sea Point for a week and to say that it was a disappointing stay is generous. The room was one of the smallest I’ve ever experienced. There was no place to put a suitcase (let alone two), the bathroom was so small that one could barely use it without bumping into the sink, the carpet was in dire need of a cleaning. The breakfast and dinner buffets were repetitive and expensive for the quality. Two members of our group had all their cash stolen from the room safe in what was obviously an inside job. They immediately told the front desk and asked that the police be called. The front desk employee did everything he could to dissuade them, saying that the police wouldn’t come, wouldn’t do anything, would subject them to lie detector tests, that there was no way of knowing who might have accessed their room as there were no cameras in the hotel. He only agreed to call the police when someone else in our group insisted loudly. The police came immediately and demanded to see the security footage which, miraculously, the same employee was able to produce. The culprits were eventually found and arrested but the hotel staff, manager and general manager seemed unwilling to help. This incident only served to confirm our low opinion of the hotel.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL! Unless you don’t mind having your luggage picked through and money stolen from you.. We stayed here with a large group and multiple people had cash (hundreds of dollars) stolen from their wallets. When we notified the front desk they didn’t seem phased at all and didn’t even apologize. I even asked if this happens often and they said no.. well, now that it’s happened to me I came here to write a review and found that MANY people have left reviews about theft and having money stolen from them at this hotel, even from their locked safes in the room! Finally we were able to speak with some sort of manager, named Cornelia, who apologized and assured us they would conduct an investigation. I asked what would happen if they did or didn’t catch the culprits and she could not answer me. I asked if we would be reimbursed or at least have the amount stolen from us taken off our room bill, but she said she couldn’t answer and we would only find out after the investigation, which is ABSURD. Plus, she told us they would only be able to investigate on Wednesday (today is Sunday) and we’ll be long gone by then. I don’t expect to hear back from them but I will update here if I do. Long story short BEWARE. I would urge anyone considering a stay at this hotel to reconsider. Oh, almost forgot to mention, our room was tiny, you could barely get to the toilet without bumping into the sink, the AC didn’t work and the room was smoldering hot, super outdated and dirty carpet… I wish I could give this place 0 stars, and even that would be generous. To the premier management: please do better. We are awaiting your response.
