We got a family room with breakfast included and it is perfect for us and our two kids. The family room is actually two rooms which gives us a lot of space and privacy. The bathroom has spa like toiletries, and there are TVs in each room. Both rooms have a fantastic city view. The breakfast was phenomenal, with a huge variety of foods each delicious and beautifully displayed. We every got to try soup curry and Hokkaido milk which I’m told is famous in this region. We came for the snow and the free use of sleds and snow toys has made my kids happiest of all. The park is directly behind us and there are many great areas to play. The best spot is to sled down the hill at the observatory. From 1-7pm the hotel lounge area has a free drink station with several tables to relax at and enjoy the park view while sipping a glass of wine, hot coffee, tea or cold glass of juice. The only thing we don’t have is laundry facilities which, with smelly snow covered clothes does make an inconvenience and I’m not about to pay for each article of my kids clothes to be professionally laundered for me. Also there are pajamas on the bed but only one size…very small! Other than that he service is fantastic and the employees are all engaging, kind, and helpful!

Staffs are polite and kind.My room was a small room but clean.The location is near Nakajima Koen (park and subway station) within walking distance to Susukino area.

This hotel was incredible. For less than $100/night we had a room on floor 20 (one of highest) with so much space. The staff were very helpful, I needed help using the bus timetables and the kind lady at the reception sat with me for 45 minutes to figure it out. The hotel is enormous and not very busy. You can ignore the reviews saying it is far away, there are many 4+ rated restaurants within 10 minutes walk and you are right next to exit 3 of Nakajima Park Metro station, which is 1 stop from Susukino where all the action is. I wish I had stayed here longer, because my hotel in Otaru is a big downgrade.

First night here, bad experience, the room is quite stuffy, I don’t think I can breathe in the room… Heat only(which is fine), no window…no fresh air(not even a tiny wind)…. I called the hotel and let them send someone to check if the ventilation system is not working, and the guy came gave us a fan, and told us he didn’t smell anything! The lobby smell good but the room is reallly smelly! Seriously?! The told me all the room are the same, they are all smelly, so we can’t change a room. Is that your attitude to your guest?!
