Most beautiful property in Knysna on waterfront. We had booked suite room and all I can say is that it is one of the best suite room I have ever been to. The kitchen was well equipped , barbecue station in open terrace, music system was also good. The only minus point was very few vegetarian option in breakfast.

Outstanding stay in Knysna! The hotel excelled with secure parking, exceptionally friendly staff, and a prime location for easy access to activities. The lagoon view from the clean swimming pool added to the overall charm. Impeccable room and bathroom cleanliness, excellent room service, and a top-notch breakfast buffet with an abundance of food and drink choices made our Knysna visit truly memorable. Looking forward to returning on our next vacation!

Okay hotel in a good position on the Knysna waterfront but very far from Marriott’s standards. The rooms are quite small and with limited differentiation (apparently only 1 suite in the whole hotel?) and some have a window basically on the road, which gives zero privacy when staying at the ground floor - this was my experience and I was apparently upgraded to this room in light of my elite status. Bathrooms are also quite small and the water doesn’t seem fresh (we had yellow smelly water on multiple occasions). Service level also not at par with Marriott: we were occupying 4 rooms and almost all of us had issues with cleaning, e.g., no fresh towels, cleaning ladies knocking at 8 AM. Moreover we all had issues with the laundry, which apparently could only be paid in cash for unclear reasons. It was okay for our short stay but would not recommend if alternatives are available in the area
