Really nice and friendly staffs. Great location and the free baggage storage is the best. You can roam around London worry free and come back to get you bags while having the great Burger in the hostel’s pub. Burger is awesome. Don’t miss it! The bathroom is not decent but not expect more for the price I paid. Love it! I will stay here again when I visit London next time.

I have traveled a lot and stayed in many dormitory hostels in my life, from Europe to South America, but I have never come across such poorly maintained and dirty bathrooms. I understand that much may depend on the guests (this morning someone literally crapped on the floor in front of toilet) but it also depends on a lack of consistent cleanliness from the hostel staff. It is a vicious cycle: the less you clean, the dirtier people get. The White Ferry would have incredible potential: it is super central, in a quiet neighborhood, in a building with historic charm, with a nice pub on the first floor where you can drink and eat quite well, the staff is friendly and helpful, the beds have very clean sheets, but this lack of hygiene in the bathrooms is unacceptable. I would not stay here again.

Not a very good stay. The bad: the triple stack bunk beds are metal, every movement by one of the other people wakes you by noise or motion. No air conditioning and very little air movement, so it's hot and crowded. The bathrooms had so many problems (shower/toilet areas wouldn't lock, sinks not working) and I don't think there are enough for as many beds as there are (6 toilets/showers for the whole place, which has 8 or 9 rooms with either 9 or 12 bunks each). At least they didn't smell like mould. No kitchen/refrigerator. The good: pretty close to Victoria Station (15min walk), 24hr check in, friendly staff, fairly clean. There are cage lockers in the rooms, and hooks to hang towels to dry.
