This is my first time ever leaving a poor review for a hotel, and I do not do so lightly, but I was pretty unhappy with my experience. This hotel did not allow me to store my bags, which is a first for me out of the MANY hotels I've stayed in before. The front desk person was pretty cold to me when I asked about it, and was even colder to me when I asked about the possibility of the room being available any earlier than check-in. I don't remember her exact words, but it was along the lines of "the room will be ready at 3pm and not a minute sooner." Not being able to store my bags caused me to have to carry my heavy bags around the city for hours, the day before running the Houston Marathon. There was also a used lime in the fridge, hairs in the shower, and loud music/train horns keeping me up at night. The price was decent, and it was close to downtown, which was nice, but there are definitely other hotels in a similar price range.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. First, we get to the hotel and they assign us a room; we go up and the cleaning lady is in the room saying “no no no, can’t be this room go back to lobby.” We go down to the lobby and they say just wait 5–10 min she’ll be done. Eventually they say she’s done, we go back to the room and it’s absolutely filthy. Go back down to ask for a refund and we can just go elsewhere, front desk person takes full responsibility but the manager (who is not present) refuses to grant the refund and demands for him to not call her again. This hotel sucks. The area isn’t safe. The elevators are a hazard in general along with being littered with graffiti. The rooms are filthy with writing on the walls and stains in the shower and all other furniture. Management clearly doesn’t care and is just there to make money. Any real hotel with assume the responsibility and just give the refund. Please do yourself a favor and stay far away from this dump.

This place should be your very last resort. If you have kids they will look for reasons to kick you out. The family owns the other 2 hotels behind it. Breakfast is a false advertisement. It’s supposed to be a non-smoking establishment but they allow certain rooms to smoke cigarettes and marijuana. The staff especially the female manager is rude daily. The rooms aren’t up to par. We ended up with mold on our bags from the lack of ventilation in the room. We dealt with a leak from the floor above us and maintenance never came to fix it. I had to clean up the mess myself then got in trouble for the towels being me messy. Housekeeping doesn’t do well at all. Every sheet set has stains or burn holes in it. I was attacked by 3 people in front of the establishment and the manager stood at the door and watched with her arms folded as if she was apart of it. If I could add the videos for more proof I would but Don’t stay here. I have a police report and photos so saying I’m lying with proof is crazy. We can go to court behind it if you really want to take it there.

If I I could leave 0 stars I would... the place at first look didn't look as bad as you could imagine however the problems don't arise until night time this hotel has BED BUGS. Upon arriving we were looking just for a place to stay for the night due to our house being worked on, throughout night I was very restless due to the people next door being very loud bumping against the wall and the constant itching at night. If you still decide to stay here after reading the reviews make sure do a thorough check before leaving out to make sure you don't bring anything with you.
