negative stars if I could put that. First of all driving there already noticed it was super sketchy. No lights Mexican border sketchy people in the parking lot. Then walking in front desk lady was extremely rude. Scary and asked for a $100 deposit out of nowhere. There were sketchy men, staring and watching the entire interaction felt very unsafe as three young women staying alone late at night then walking down the hallway it already started to smell making our way to our room then the worst part. The room stunk. The lights didn’t even work. Then absolutely disgusting. The beds were dirty there were hair there was blood. There was all kinds of stains and someone had obviously just slept there, and it had not been cleaned , it looked like there were bugs on the floor. The carpet was filthy. The shower was filthy. Everything was disgusting. The window was wide open, leading out into the parking lot, which was completely unsafe as anyone could’ve came into the room. We immediately left the next morning as we were exhausted , we slept with our shirts on our pillowcase to avoid touching the bed at all costs disgusting, dangerous, unsafe, rude, don’t know how this place isn’t shut down when it’s obviously being used by sketchy people. Don’t know what kind of laundering human trafficking type place this is, nasty , avoid!!! All the positive reviews are fake here it’s easy to spot. Requested refund, of course nothing. Almost 800$ plus the deposit. Please do not go here it’s terrible.

Worst quality inn I have stayed in, usually it's a good experience when I stay at a quality inn. Breakfast is usually great as well but this time all they had were waffles. When others have eggs, sausage, bacon, muffin, biscuits etc. Not only was there a lack in breakfast, they had no syrup, milk was out and not stored in a refrigerated area. Id rather take my chances in Mexico next time!

This is probably one of worst hotel stays I have ever experienced. I chose this hotel for the pool options. Upon arrival, we learned the pool was closed by the Department of Health. The water was green and slimy. The room was average, but shown signs of great wear and tear. The breakfast was empty by 7am and never replenished, so we went to IHOP for breakfast. Then, this hotel charges a $100 room deposit. After 11 days and 5 calls to the hotel, this deposit was refunded. I emailed and called the hotel management to express my concerns with no reply or answer. So I will never stay at this hotel again and I hope you avoid this location, as well.

Unfortunately our worst experience ever. Started 24 hours before check in while requesting early check in and they wanted to change $50 per hour before 3:00p, totally abusive. Was our choice based on location and only 5 minutes away CBX San Diego/Tijuana. The room didn't have remote control for the TV, one set of towels for a couple of guests, the ice maker machine was unplugged, no smoke detector and before check out the work breakfast posible cereal and no milk. We has been Choice customers for years, leisure and business but this stay was really disappointing. Rather stay in farther location but better value for my money.
