Queen Cafe Hotel & Pub

The hotel lies perfectly central in the Old Quarter. The location is perfect for anyone who wants to have walking distance to most things and a pickup/drop off point for Grab is just 200m away. The staff has been super nice and very helpful. They gave us a map of the city and useful information (for example opening hours of museums etc). They helped us with our bags to our room too. The room we got was big enough (normal sized for a hotel room) for 2 people and it was clean. There was some small ants in the room but it’s very common over all in Vietnam. We missed towels for our hands (just got 2 regular towels) so we asked for more towels which they sorted out straight away. We had some problems flushing our toilet too which happened 3 times (once more or less every day) but we notified the staff downstairs usually on our way out and once we got back it was all sorted out. Can’t tell if this is something happening for every room but this was the case for us in room 102. Not very convenient obviously but at least the staff helped us nicely when the problems occurred. They offered different trips and airport transfer too from the front desk, the later mentioned which we booked and it was at a quite good (not too overpriced) rate only 30k more expensive than through Grab (and Grab taxi couldn’t get door to door either). Over and all, price worthy and a you get what you pay for experience but it suited our travel plans super well and it was so close to everything and very convenient. Staff surely 12/10 they were so friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was generally speaking alright but would get better rating if the flushing hadn’t been an issue every day.
