it is so bad. We booked a room and transferred money to the manager here many days in advance. But when we arrived at 9pm, there was no room. they transferred us to another place with the excuse that old guests stayed longer. we have no choice. in an expensive place and the rooms are very hard. I can't sleep, breakfast is not included. I told him I wanted to return to the hotel the second day and he was ok, but the next morning he still replied that the old guest had not checked out. a condemnable scam because we have no choice. Lots of better hotels in this area

- Location is incredible by walk, turn right to Morning market and turn left to Night market. - Room was so big and clean with 2 big bottoms, kettle, refrigerator, safety box. - Separate shower and toilet area. - Staff so helpful, they take care everything even book train ticket and pick up service. **My family were enjoy there and will visit again for sure next time.

Love the spacious and clean room, big comfy king sized beds with 4 pillows, adequate charging points. The outdoor balcony was very useful to dry our wet clothing and for our breakfast. Hot showers with consistent good water pressure was there throughout. Shower and toilet are separate. Both air con and ceiling fan are available so we could decide what we want. We ordered our breakfasts the night before and they brought them to our room at 7.30am as requested cos we needed to depart early for our outdoor tours. Such personal service was deeply appreciated. Location was fantastic. The main entrance is inside an alley, u had to alight at the main road and bring in your luggage. Pack light and it shouldn't be an issue. On one end of the alley was the main road that turned in a night market in the evening, and the other end was the morning market. You can watch the alms giving ceremony once u exit into the main road early in the morning 5.45am ~ 6am. It is also short walking distance to the Royal Palace and Phousi Hill entrance, and various shops, bars/restaurants/cafes, a money changer, Laos clothing rental shops etc along the road. Check-in was an issue though. Not adequately staffed. No one was at the counter the entire day when a staff fell ill (which we found out later at night from the night shift receptionist.) 1 lady (cleaner) who happened to be cleaning the rooms helped us to look thru the log book and gave us our room keys despite not speaking a word of English. Heartfelt thanks to her. Will definitely stay here again for its proximity and gorgeous room and services. Thank you Queen's House for a memorable stay.
