The hotel had great service and amenities. Mega(Guest Service Representative) gave us excellent hospitality in helping us with luggage storage and early check in. She even offered us late check out without us even asking. Amenities: They have an outdoor and indoor pool, sauna, kids room, gym, etc. Indoor pool had a view of the golf course. Lobby is very comfortable. They provided us with buggy transport service to the golf course next door. Breakfast had an exquisite selection of local Indonesian food and intercontinental elements. I want to send my appreciation to the staff for patiently letting us have our breakfast after the allocated time (We took all our food before the cutoff but needed time to finish it). This is my second time at Radisson and I'm very happy to have stayed with them again.

The room is clean and spacious. My Mum and I look forward to the breakfast buffet spread everyday with Jolyn welcoming us with a bright and beautiful smile. She is so friendly and acts promptly to our requests. On the overall, staffs are well trained to serve guests with their interest at priority. It is a very pleasant and memorable experience to explore Batam with such a good hotel.

Before COVID, I had a positive impression of the Radisson hotel, so when things settled, my family and I chose to stay there again for a relaxing vacation, given its supposedly great facilities, including indoor and outdoor pools. But let me tell you, the staff, especially the front desk manager, Mr. Samuel, were beyond disrespectful. That guy's a total jerk! I've never dealt with such an outrageously rude and unprofessional manager in my entire life. He treats guests as if they are beneath him, like some kind of prisoner. Seriously, is that the absolute best you can hire for customer service? It's a disgrace, especially for a manager where first impressions should matter the most in ensuring guests want to return. But that's not even the worst part—there was an ant infestation in the room! Are you kidding me? Do you even have a clue about what pest control entails? It's mind-boggling how you can neglect basic hygiene to such an extent! It's utterly infuriating! And guess what? On the first night, the air conditioner decides to spectacularly break down, and I had to endure an eternity waiting for someone to bother showing up.

The 4-star hotel as indicated here was definitely an understatement for Radisson. With the level of services, amenities, comfort, and quality they offered, they certainly deserved a 5-star. And yes, believe me, I do know what a 5-star hotel means. It seems that the hotel management has done something right with the recruitment and the way they train the staff because almost all of them were doing extra mile to please their guests without being pretentious. Overall, it’s always a pleasant experience staying at this hotel. The only reason why I write the review now is because I feel reluctant to share a rare gem as it will be more difficult to book this hotel in the future.
