Even before i leave this place, i would like to drop this review. If hundreds of firefly, thousands of animals and flora, and billion of stars are your thing, if you like to stay with a host who treats you like a family, if you like wilderness and an actual one, then this is the place. Good comfortable bed, nice food by the caretaker, support really 24x7 that too just a phone call away. That’s raintree. Owner Supipi, is a well travelled lady and got lot of stories to share.

Its a calm and relaxing location. Staff is really helpful and friendly. The rooms are really clean and hot water is also available. The food is really tasty. We will like to visit again soon for a longer stay. The welcome drink was so nice and everything was super. Parking is available and you can drive to the room location near Chalet. View from the hotel is really beautiful and relaxing. You can walk arund the area is the place is so big area. The place is really good and some of the rooms are under construction. That will offer better options soon. The owner Mr. Uthpala is really helpful and communication is really good. They have packages from FB, HB, BB upon your request. Prices also reasonable. Thank you Raintree Team making our stay memorable.

Beautiful location and great accommodation. The staff was so kind, respectful, and caring. We felt happy and safe the entire time because of how well we were taken care of and how well the place is maintained. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to feel quality accommodation and service in a spectacular place in Sri Lanka. If I ever travel to Sri Lanka again, this is where I'm staying.

Amazing host! Awesome food ( highly recommended to eat at their stay) ! Unique stay ! The host are just amazing! They themselves have traveled a lot and have excellent communication skills. The food they cook is very Sri Lankan and it’s finger licking delicious. They can even cook other western food if you feel like but I would recommend to eat the local food they cook. They can help you to get a scooter from their neighbors and it comes in handy if you go around in Dambulla or Sigriya. Rooms are good, very close to natural. You will feel isolated. Being close to nature, just be careful with bugs and all but I guess that’s normal to have in such stays.

The one star reviews done below are obviously slander to make these hosts look bad. They all talk about the same issues which are obviously false. The hosts for the place are genuinely kind people who want the best for their guests and go above and beyond to provide us with the best care. Food was so tasty! The location is absolutely perfect to relax and sit back. Loved my stay here and hosts did a good job to provide the best experience. Thank you Sue and Uthpala
