Sole staff at reception / front desk holding down the fort. Massive lines in check in. Wait for requests is measured in hours rather than minutes. I don't blame the single guy holding down the fort tho. Kudos to him. Staffing situation during holidays need a massive revamp and improvement. Room itself is very spartan. Note there is no coffee machine. A plus is that the rooms do have a number of different plugs available, not just the Swiss one. Does not match other 4 star hotels in terms of plug availability though. To be honest, the entire hotel feels more like a 3 star than a 4 star with its extremely basic amenities. Great for a budget hotel but skip this hotel if you expect more service and amenities.

We stayed here for 3 nights in October 2023. We were here for a Geneva City break, me, my husband, and our son. We absolutely loved this hotel, would 100% stay again! We were checked in by a lovely staff member, super efficient. Our room was really clean, sparkling bathroom, everything we could need for a short stay! The TV had at least 1 channel for most languages. If you forget your countries plug adapter, don't worry, they have put lots of different plugs in the room for various countries, plus usb, we found that very handy! While we were there the hotel was very quiet, we didn't hear any other guests being loud or anything, We all slept really well and found the beds really comfortable. Housekeeping came and had a tidy round daily and made the beds ect. Ask at reception for your free Geneva travel pass, such a handy thing to have! It's just basically a QR code printed out that you would show if you were stopped by a conductor (we didn't once see one) all visitors to the city are entitled to one and you can just hop on and off public transport! We used so many buses and trams, We couldn't believe how easy it was to get around! You can go straight to the airport from right outside the hotel! Brilliant! The hotel is literally attached to a shopping centre, we used this for breakfast instead of using the hotel. This worked out much much cheaper. There is a Coop restaurant on the top floor of the centre and the food is really reasonable. Overall, thank you for a brilliant stay! Hopefully one day, we will be back to visit Geneva, and we won't hesitate to stay here again!

First night here having travelled since 3am and was told our room wasn't ready. Now, there is some kind of music event next door that we weren't aware of and have been told that it will end at 3am. Not getting any sleep at all and we're on the 7th floor, furthest away from the event. Now the smell from the drains are making us feel physically sick. Not a good experience at all. !!!

Lackluster Service at Ramada Encore Inn, Geneva During my recent stay at the Ramada Encore Inn in Geneva, I encountered several disappointments. As a Diamond member, I was looking forward to a certain standard of service, which was not met. • Check-in: The process was slow, and my status as a Diamond member went unrecognized. No welcome amenities were provided. • Room Allocation: I was not offered an upgraded room, and the rooms assigned were not close to each other. • Room Quality: The rooms were on the lowest floor, falling short of my expectations. • Service Requests: Requests for basic amenities like a crib and spoon were met with indifference. • Key Card and Wi-Fi: Despite assurances to the contrary, I had to change key cards daily. The Wi-Fi required new codes after 24 hours, and while I was able to continue using it, the speed was less than 10 Mbps, which was quite slow. The hotel’s connection to a mall was a plus, providing some convenience for essentials and dining. However, the overall experience was underwhelming, particularly from a guest service standpoint. This experience has made me reconsider staying at this location in the future.

Our base in Geneva. Would recommend. Room appearance is exactly as how it was advertised. Exceptionally clean. The hotel as many people said is inside the mall, and next to the football stadium Strade de Geneve. Breakfast is 24 francs with hot food and cold food. We didn’t eat here as breakfast timeframe is 0700 to 1000hrs only. Bus 23 from Geneva airport bus stop (29 minutes) , and Bus D to Bel-Air (22mins) if you want to go to town. Really easy to follow and download the TPG app - all the times and numbers are there for the Zone 10 Canton of Geneva. FOOD IS NOT FROM RAMADA - there’s so many cheaper foods in the centre if you want a budget friendly meal. Would recommend the Bains des Paquis for the meal of the day or Plat du Jour 15 francs per adult. Aim to eat at the small shops, would recommend “Tita Dimps” located around Mont Blanc I think - will include food in my review
