More or less disappointed in my stay. The bed and room were nice, and comfortable. The housekeeping and parking staff were the saving grace. They were polite and efficient. The room didn't have a shower curtain when we arrived, and we're told that it didn't come with one at first, then after more conversation a housekeeper was sent up and agreed that it should, and promptly had one provided. The room was also locked at 25 Celsius and was way too warm for a truly comfortable stay or sleep. A fan was provided but there was nothing done about the radiator being on all the time, even with the window open it was way too hot all the time. The breakfast was way too expensive and extremely disappointing. I've had better for free.

It's a 50% 50% experience. Convenient location for to do things in Down town. Housekeeping did good job but I saw some big holes in shower curtain apart that they did a good job. Met 4 front desk Agents 3 of them were not with a single smile and looks frustration. At the time of checkout met a female Agent she's is the only person I saw smiled and gave a nice last impression. The entire night I herald some banging noise from outside may be central air-conditioning it wakes me many time's... Rooms needs to be upgrade with some amenities.. like kettle.. But good place for a short visit for a business purpose.

Nice and clean hotel, friendly staff, location was okay but not too many amenities/restaurants within 10 minutes walking distance. ——— Booked a Jacuzzi King suite for the night of an event nearby; firstly the check-in was easy and the hotel was in a better/quieter area of downtown. The room was clean, not as spacious as I expected and not a true “suite” by the definition of having a separate sitting room and bedroom; this more resembled a double queen/double bed room but with a jacuzzi in the corner. For $176 with taxes and fees (Wyndham rate - Diamond cash booking) on an “off-season” January night you could probably find better for about the same with the Marriott brand. Bedding was clean under black light, jacuzzi worked fine, clean bathroom and the oversized “mini fridge” was a definite plus. Room was quite hot though, even with the window open and outside temperature around 2 degrees Celsius it was close to 24-25 in the room. As with most of downtown Calgary; outside of weekday business hours things pretty much shutdown. The hotel does have a pub/restaurant on the main floor but other food options are limited unless you order delivery/will travel to the restaurant. Didn’t check out the hotel restaurant, but the reviews and food seem standard fare for most 2-3 star hotel restaurants. Overall, would stay again if I needed to; like any good chain hotel, Ramada and Wyndham deliver on the consistency of a pleasant experience at a reasonable price.

We checked in to this suite (a wedding gift from great friends) with a king bed and a jacuzzi. It was a great experience except for the bathroom. It was just too small. The shower was hard to control to make sure that it doesn’t flood outside its door. But we managed. The room provides basic needs, although you would have to call and request for toothbrush and toothpaste. Breakfast was satisfying as well. I also left something in the room, and got so lucky they were able to keep it for me until I came back the next day. Everyone at the front desk was friendly, and they have free lemon water at the reception. I guess it’s to compensate not having bottled water in the room. Location-wise, it’s great! You can walk around the city and nearby parks, or take bus/train with stops nearby. It’s a great option when you’re in Calgary!

Our room was very clean, no complaints. It wasn’t a large room & the bathroom is small but being clean is the most important.The hotel is in a great place downtown where you can walk to a lot of different activities, green space, walking paths, restaurants & bars. It’s older but seems well kept. The staff we encountered were all very friendly & helpful. We liked that there’s a bar/restaurant right in the hotel very convenient when arriving very late(opened until 9:00pm). The morning breakfast was pretty standard scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, bagels, etc they could offer a few more sweet treats but they did offer a discount on the price so all in all not too bad.I would recommend this hotel.
