This has been one of my favorite hotels since childhood and I’m glad to say I had a wonderful time with my wife at this hotel. We were lucky to get the suite on discount for 5 nights and the staff were very sincere and welcoming the whole stay. Facilities are top notch and room service is also 10/10 you can get thai and western all to 5 star taste. The location is also very nearby Canal road and the main city centre. A bike or private transport via grab is recommended. They do offer shuttle services to the night market and the city centre everyday as well.

This hotel surprised both me and my girlfriend. Our room was authentic and super nice. The staff was very friendly and helped us every time we needed help. The pool area was super nice and quiet. The food was good and the dinner restaurant offers both western food and of course asian food, to affordable prices as well. It takes only 10 min. by car to the center of the city and to the famous night market. The only negative thing was, that when we brought two friends over to take a 5 min. dip in the pool, the staff demanded 200 bht. pr. person for guests, which we though was a little too bad.

We stayed at the RatiLanna Resort in Chiang Mai for 6 nights. The hotel is decorated with teak wood throughout, which makes it very Thai. The rooms are spacious very comfortable. A bit dated, but the RatiLanna is not a Hilton so to say... The restaurant food was excellent as was the staff. As much as Chiang Mai is known for its food, the hotel food was outstanding in comparison to the restaurants we tried. The location is a bit far from the "old city" if you want to do some sightseeing, you'll need to take a taxi but the benefits of the location is quiet and has a great swimming pool beside the ping river and the old city is a 10 minute grab ride.

My wife and I stayed here for a few days during our vacation in Thailand. The staff was very welcoming and gracious, everyone went out of their way to greet you and made sure you were taken care of. The room was beautiful, they did turn down services twice a day which was unexpected, but great. The restaurant, food, happy hour (buy one drink get one free), breakfast buffet, all amazing and I have nothing bad to say about it. The river location was a tad disappointing as it wasn’t as “lush” and tropical as I had thought it would be and didn’t really offer a nice view or ambience, it was just sort of there, not a selling point of the hotel but also not a deal breaker. I wish the location was walkable to the city center where all the street markets are, but the hotel does have a free shuttle that can take you there throughout the day. We had a massage at the spa and it was absolutely wonderful. Highly recommended.
