My mother and I stayed at the Raven Hotel for 6 nights to visit Istanbul and we would definitely recommend it if you want a nice, comfortable apartment close to the main attraction, it's 10 min walk from Sultanahmet Camii and the amazing Basilica Cistern, 600m from the Bazars and Nuruosmaniye Mosque. It perfectly located! You have also the tram T1 which brings you to Eminönü and the Galata Bridge. We had a really good time there. The apartment were spacious and comfortable, the kitchen well furnished, we always enjoyed breakfast at home indeed and a home dinner on the last night there. A great note of credit goes to the cleanliness which is great thanks to the sweet Fatma who will take care of your room changing daily all the towels and putting in order everything so that every day it will be like you just arrived! All the staff is very kind and helpful even though they don't speak English (apart from the manager Tamer we were always in touch with and was ready to help us with whatever we needed) like the two guys at the reception who really helped us and we could easily communicate (through the translator). Yunus was always there for us with a friendly smile and he really helped us arranging our trip to the airport. We were totally satisfied with our stay and we'll definitely come back there the next time we are in Istanbul.

Beautiful hotel and the host was Fatima was very hospitable!! Our family loved our stay at your hotel. The only drawback were the really long staircase walk to our room. We had really heavy luggage which had to be carried by helpers. If this thing could be improved then that’d be absolutely great! Thanks again!

Fantastic Old but nicely renewed Spacious room with all the needed facilities The apartment is huge shiny and extremely comfortable At the front a nice bakery 🧁 , Iranian barber and an old church Many cheap stores are very near by But the most noticeable is the 🌹 lovely house keeper FATIMA who will receive you with charming smiles and a cup of coffee, she makes every thing in stay easy The only draw back is that the bus and tram and metro station are around 12 minutes walk but there are plenty of 🚕🚕🚕🚕🚕🚕 taxi passing in front For a family I strongly recommend You can prepare your breakfast casting no more than 5 USD at your well equibbed chicken

Great location in Sultanahmet, easy walk straight up the big hill to the grand bazaar, and to the big mosques, and tons of cafes and restaurants. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms with kitchenettes, great windows, high ceilings. Wifi was mostly reliable. I would definitely stay here again! My only note is for solo travelers: be aware that the doors do not have peepholes. There shouldn't be anyone coming up to the rooms without folks in the lobby office knowing, and they are always around during the day and most of the evening (I absolutely felt safe here as a solo female traveler the entire time), but just be aware that you cannot see into the hallway from your room.
