Exceeded my expectations and was value beyond what we were paying for. The receptionists were friendly and approachable and the room was clean, no cigarette smell at all and the bed was very comfortable. Quaint and quiet little hotel! Had a great weekend here.

Booked a Deluxe King Double Balcony Room. Could have just booked the Single Balcony Room cos the view wasn't worth additional balcony. In fact, I just wanted a room with windows. A simple room without refrigerator. Considered clean other than water stained marks on the ceiling. Top level was supposed to have a restaurant but restaurant was gone and it was just an "abandoned" level. Asked for Make-up Room and the staff cleared the disposable utensils I left on the table. Even a drinks bottle that I had washed and left on the table was thrown away. I believe they should only cleared what was in the rubbish bin and not things left on the table.

booked a non-smoking room but the room that we got smelled so heavily like cigarette smoke, and the room spray fragrance was so strong because it needed to mask the smoke smell - ended up like a health hazard safety deposit box also wasn’t working front desk staff was really nice and helped to change my room after she had given my room a whiff - although the new room too smelled like cigarette smoke but less pungent so we settled In the new room however, the wallpaper was starting to peel off and haphazardly re-stuck with cellophane tape. There were holes in the toilet ceiling that were also ‘patched’ with cellophane tape, and even with tissue….. thought the toilet would be the saving grace, however when i turned on the shower tap, water was coming from not just the shower head but also the shower head shaft!!!!! location is great honestly for what i wanted to do in JB but would most definitely NEVER stay at this hotel again

I think this hotel lack of sense that they are in the hospitality industry. Ask for make-up room also say cannot because full house. When my friend forgot their things in the hotel and I come to retrieve it after a few hours later, they say already dispose it and show me that it's not their fault because they have every right to do so, based on the signed agreement. Did they even explain it to their customer or just let them blindly sign it and pin every mistake on their customer? Also, there's a display selling products (I think their customer's used items) left behind in the lobby. Go and learn some customer service lah.
