Across the street from the Louve. Very beautiful spacious rooms that are clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and well knowledge. Considering the cost of food in Paris the breakfast in bed was a nice touch.

This boutique hotel is virtually across the street from the Louvre and within walking distance of many of the major attractions (Musee D’Orsay, Seine, Les Halles, Samaritan shopping, Tuileries Gardens). Several good restaurants in the area, a popular local boulangerie and a brasserie where we thoroughly enjoyed a coffee and omelet or charcuterie board and beer. Staff is just terrific and the GM Sophie is incredibly responsive. I was a first time traveler to Paris and used her recommendations to build my itinerary, hire a driver, and create an experience of art, architecture and culture that I’ve dreamed of since I was 10. The five stars for the room is in recognition of the cleanliness and attention to detail provided by the entire staff. The breakfast was terrific for us and there was even enough to make cheese and butter sandwiches for a snack during our walk-arounds. This hotel is unique and not like a big brand. If you are looking for a European lodging experience in one of the worlds greatest cities, the Hotel Relais de Louvre will be a highlight of your trip.

HIghly recommended! The only slight negative I could possibly put in this review is that the rooms are really small! Not much room for luggage. But they are nevertheless comfortable, air-conditioned, nicely furnished and intelligently laid out, given their size. It's an old building, like most in the centre of Paris, so the small internal spaces are just typical of the era. But everything else was excellent. Very welcoming and professional front desk staff, copious breakfast served in the room. Easy phone contact with the 24hr front desk. Amazing location right across from the Louvre, and close to an excellent restaurant (Le Fumoir), which the staff recommended, and which did not disappoint! In between 2 Metro stations, so very convenient for getting around, and right in the 1st arronsdissement, meaning a lot of what you might want to see in Paris is in walking distance anyway.

We felt very welcomed at the hotel. We loved the quaint boutique charm found in every aspect of the furnishing and decor, you knew you weren't staying in just some generic run-of-the-mill hotel. It felt very luxurious despite being compact. I positively relished having breakfast brought to the room every morning. It allowed us to relax and prep for our day before having to go into public. Also, we were very pleased with everything on the breakfast tray, fresh bread, jams, cheese, coffee/hot chocolate and fruit. It was convenient to everything we wanted to do in Paris. Thank you for making us feel at home!
