Upon check in, I swiped my card for incidentals, which is normal. The amount was for $121. When I woke up the next morning, my card was charged $50 and $40 bringing my incidentals total to $211 which was very concerning. I spoke with the front desk and they did not give a clear reason as to why this happened but I did receive my money back. The night before I was to check out, I went to the front desk and spoke with the young man at the desk and I informed him that I needed to request a late checkout for both of my rooms the next day. I informed him that we needed until 2pm. He stated that was ok and I walked away. The next morning around 12 noon, I was preparing to get dressed and packed for our departure when suddenly, my room door flew opened and a housekeeper said to me, "this room is a checkout and you still here?" I looked at her in sheer disgust and I informed her that I had a late checkout for 2pm. She had an attitude, looked at me like she was extremely upset and closed my door. She never ONCE knocked on the door before walking into my room. She almost caught me completely naked as I was preparing to get dressed. She then went to my other room which was right next door and she was EXTREMELY NASTY to my daughter as well. Even though a room is scheduled to checkout, you should still have the common courtesy to KNOCK ON THE DOOR AND ANNOUNCE YOURSELF. This property did not provide the usual service that is expected from Marriott. Highly disappointed. Management did not NOTHING to rectify this situation!!!

Definitely a nice hotel, in a very convenient location. The room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. Will be my go to hotel on future trips to Houston for sure. Giving 4 stars because I feel that the breakfast could have been a little better when compared in terms of overall selection to other Residence Inn's and not having anything to drink in the lobby like coffee or water was a bummer. Had to either go back to my room or starbucks when working down there to get something. Also, housekeeping was less than standard. It was my fault that I did not receive housekeeping the first day from leaving the sign on my door and was able to get some fresh towels. However, the next morning, they came but only put up the few towels I had without a full restock, left the bed unmade, and trach in the cans. While not a huge big deal, it still feels like the bare minimum was done in my room.

It was a great stay. Great location in downtown, nice amenities, breakfast included, strong water pressure, variety of television channels, and good central air system. Very clean and extremely nice staff. Didn't rate a 10 because the only parking option available was VIP at $45 dollars per night. That was very expensive and not disclosed at the time of the booking. Luckily, I found street metered parking very close by. Overall, it was an extremely nice stay and a great value for a good rate.

A good value for the money. Nothing fancy, but clean and quiet with a comfortable bed and a shower with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Complimentary breakfast in the morning offered a decent selection of items, though the coffee was not good. That’s ok though, cause there’s a Starbucks right next door. This part of the city seems to be especially dead with very little to do, but that probably contributed to the quietness of the hotel. We Ubered to a few places when we first checked in and that got expensive very quickly, so we ended up walking to where we wanted to go for the remainder of our stay. Pleasant staff. Overall a positive experience.

the room was dirty, the towels had a weird smell, the tv wasn't working. we got here at 12am after a Dynamos Game, the company in charge of the parking couldn't help, that because my truck was to high, they sent me to look around for public parking. One of the hotel receptionist was no help at all! (because no one explain to us that is 3 hotels in 1) No management available at the time, such a horrible experience. Once that we figure out parking & got with the correct front desk, the lady helping us was very kind & apologize for the other receptionist! which we appreciated, but our room was very uncomfortable! we will never stay here again!
