Had multiple nights booked in early December for work. Arrived and was told they had my reservation but did not have any clean rooms. I was told to go find another hotel, possibly the extended stay next door. I called Marriott corporate as I could not believe this is how Marriott treats customers. Marriott corp. called the hotel to advise them that they have to find me accommodation at a nearby Marriott property. After a lengthy delay I was sent to downtown San Jose, the site was advised of what happened and the rate I had. I was placed in a room much smaller than the size I had booked. When I checked out I was charged a much higher rate. I spoke to both Marriott properties regarding it but have not heard back from them. I called Marriott corporate back and they assured me they were working on it and said when this happens they are supposed to find me a new accommodation and cover the cost, all that happened for me was sending me further away and charging me more for a smaller room and $39 a night parking fee. This was is not good, as this was a business trip booked via my companies site and using my company credit card. The higher rate they charged me is over what the company allows to be spent on accommodation. Be careful booking with Marriott if traveling for business with travel rules. I never once heard from the manager or owner of this Marriott property, you would think at the very least they would apologize. Worst Marriott experience, worst of any hotel stay. This is still not resolved.

The rooms are super outdated. I felt like I was at a Motel 6. TVs are super small. The toilet wasn't working. The water wasn't going down and before we left it over flowed. Gross! We kept trying to call the front desk. No answer. I've stayed in some pretty nice Marriott Hotels this one was really bad. Worse experience as a Platinum Member.

This location desperately needs to be renovated. The laundry room is disgusting all around. They could try cleaning the room itself, wiping down the machines so there aren't watering rust lines running down the front of the washers, and a coat of paint would really help make the room seem less run down and gross.

I was super impressed! I’ve stayed at quite a few hotels in San Jose for work trips and their suites here were comfortable, clean, and very large. Full kitchen with supplies, large living room area for lounging and luggage. Clean bathroom and the bed was super comfy. They have complimentary breakfast starting at 7am. $12 a day for parking. Plenty of parking around the building and it felt safer and secure then most places in San Jose. The staff were helpful and friendly. Also, FINALLY windows that open fully, 4 of them! I need fresh air and hate how most hotels these days are stuffy and don’t allow you to open windows while they recycle perfume air. I had fresh air all night sleeping peacefully. I will definitely stay here next business trip, thank you! (p.s go eat at El Amigo Mexican restaurant not far from here, it’s absolutely delicious!)
