Resort World Terelj Hotel

This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had in Mongolia. Let me start with how first of terrible the customer service was. The receptionist first of all was hungover from the new year party from the day before and was not helpful. The wifi was down the entire day, and we were told to use our data. Hot was was not working to shower, we were told to take a bath from a water boiler and bucket. They were out of toilet paper and out of heater at night. The food was cold and found hair in it. The room locks were broken and when asked them if they would be responsible if anything were to get lost, they “reassured” us that such thing wouldnt happen. The rooms were filled with cigarette smoke to which we went to complain, and they denied anyone smoked. This was all in day one of our arriving ya’ll. Here comes day TWO, the meeting room we used the previous day was not cleaned with crumbs and dirty plates on table. ( we paid to book the meeting room.) found cigarette buds in one of the juice bottles in the meeting room. (None us smoke.) during lunch we were asked to immediately switch our room to a new-coming guest because they wanted a room on the second floor, and asked us to move. Here we move to the third floor and find that the doors are working, but now the heater is completely gone and the curtains are broken and on the ground. When we asked them to come and fix it, noone was sent. At this point we were getting really annoyed and frustrated to have such treatment and just wanted to leave. Comes day THREE and now they have lot more guests since its Saturday. During lunch they forgot 5 of our meals and gave it to other guests and asked us if we could “NOT order food,” because they’ll need to cook again. We were pretty fed up at this point and let out our frustration and nothing was discounted nor no compensation was given. Thank you for listening to this rant. Everything was okay to great. Thing were little old which little hindered my impression. Location is unique and wonderful middle if the trees and you can see the mountain just from the front gate. Receptionist was a very polite one. I liked it. But conference room felt little dusty which is the only reason why I rated it okay.
