Wow! The accommodation itself was first class. Previous reviewers are correct when they say there is no reception. We didn’t see a single person in charge the four days we were there (other than cleaners once). The location is unfortunate. There are quarry or something similar where trucks drive past constantly causing noise and the location isn’t great with the general feel being ‘run down’. There a bit of work to be done here as the service and the property were great just the run down entrance to the location.

We had an amazing time here and we want to visit again during winter time. We stayed in the king suite with 3 people and everything we needed was there and designed beautifully. We also played mini golf on the course next to the domes which was nice and included. Also a great hot tub and sauna are available.

We stayed in the King suite. Dome itself was lovely, however not worth the money. Could hear the people from the other 2 domes as they were maybe 30’ apart, the view was of buildings and construction. Paid for the “romance pkg” but apparently the “cleaner” forgot to put out. No sense of privacy. If they were regular hotel room priced review would have been higher but at a 100000kr a night, just not worth the money.

The property had a run down trashed amusement park on it. there was no reception. our hot tub was not full, dirty, and smelt horrible. The robes were ripped. Emailed the property about issues and no response ever. The shower is a community shower and has no door so anyone can walk right in. In the middle of the night there was a bunch of crashing, breaking glass sounds and my husband went outside and there was random people breaking things so we left. We did not feel safe especially because we did not have a door/lock on the dome. I have tried to contact the property for a refund and no answer. I would not stay here ever again. Not safe! Felt like the a scene in a horror movie.

We loved our stay at Reykjavik Domes and only wish we could have stayed longer. The room was beautifully decorated and the wood fireplace was a welcome sight in this cold weather. We slept comfortably after enjoying the views and the hot tub till late at night. The amenities were clean and the kitchenette was well equipped. Self check in and check out made everything quick and easy. Highly recommended for a different style of accommodation and experience.
