An interesting place especially for those new to staying at a Riad. The place is antiquated to say the least. I should have known better. It is in a slum like area of the Medina and there were times there were no lights in the narrow alleys at night. Additionally, it was quite a ways away from the main attractions. While the size of the room was ample, it was filled with chairs and ornaments which we had no use for. The bathroom was tight. There was no place to place your bags other than the floor. Thankfully the ac worked well, the breakfast was okay but a bottle of water costs a heck of a lot more than anywhere else. Do not have them call you a taxi. It costs a heck of a lot more. The owners also recommend restaurants which are pricy and my feeling is they get kickbacks. The helpers working there were fine and pleasant. But this place unlike a neighbouring Riad does not offer baggage service. Do not expect the owner to do much for you. The male helper Abdul was a very pleasant person and helped me with the bag when we left. He was also kind to show us the way a few times. While we finally got used to getting around using Google Maps, it isn’t as reliable. You need to go slowly and make sure you make the exact turns. Would I recommend this place? I would not. In fact, I suggest anyone to stay outside the Medina in a hotel and visit the souk, the squares and sights.

This place was fantastic. My husband and I recently stayed here. Close access to the medina but you won’t hear any noise at night. GPS is pretty good at getting you back to the Riad if needed. The host was amazing they arranged taxi pick up and early drop off, even had someone meet us and lead us back to the Riad. First day we were given maps and advice of how to get around. Absolutely recommend this place!!

I didn't feel myself welcome in this Riaad. I came late in the night after visit the earthquake area. It was time diner time . So i asked them can i have diner? No was the answer. I had to order this in the morning or a day before. While they were eating front of me. ... Who are these people??? Are they human beings? knowing i had a long travel day behind of the earthquake area. I want to pay for it. I am origin from Marrakech, i have my second life and business here and my friends. So the second night i didnt came back home to sleep. So the owner Irene was not amused. She said the guy was waiting for you the whole night . like i am a little girl of 12. Excuse me? i was in shock. I am an adult above 40.... So not oke. not a nice ambiance!!! i give it 1 star! Never again. next day i had to pay the tax for the 4 days even i didnt sleep 4 days. Hungry people from France! Not a good Energy at all.
