It’s a very nice (from internal) hotel in a good location. Also has good and enough parking places. The rooms are excellent, and the view can be breathtaking and beautiful. The staff was kind and nice. But please do not order or pay for dinner, because it was awful, in every aspect. Never ever had that bad experience with dinner, just eat anywhere else. The room heating was not sufficient, the room was always cold, and the heating equipment was not able to rise the temp. In the wellness, the pools were cold. Most of the pools were empty because of that! You need to pay for saunas even if you are the guest of the hotel, where you get nothing. The supposed to be sauna programs, but instead of it, they just put plain salt in the table.

Hi everyone, so first of all, we checked into the room everything was fine but then after a few minutes being in the room we found there was like a bottle cap just a little bit under the bed. At first we did not notice it, but then I complained to reception and they just said oh I’m sorry and nothing else. as well, there were no towels in the room and I requested them and housekeeping lady who deliver the towels to the room did not speak Slovenian, neither English, so that was a bit disappointing. Then the next day during the checkout they did not even mention These bad situation that happened with our room, not being clean as we would expect it, so we did not appreciate it, even a small gesture like sorry or anything similar would help. And since that was not enough two days after we already got back home, they charged my credit card with explanation that I used a minibar amenities, which I did not since I know that you need to pay for them in any hotel you go. I explained to them, I guess too soon in the conversation that I had my water bottle in the fridge when they replied to me that the fridge in the room is not to store any personal items, after that, I felt even worse because it looked like THEY WERE ACCUSING ME THAT IS MY FAULT that they charge me for minibar amenities and not their mistake. I believe this minibar fridges work based on how much weight is in it. Eventually after many emails conversations I got my money back, since of course, nothing was taken from the fridge. Very unpleasant situation which could easily be avoided with better communication. So unfortunately I do not recommend staying at this hotel because this was not the first unpleasant experience here.

My stay at Rikli Balance Hotel in Lake Bled was a mixed experience. The wellness area impressed with its variety of pools and jacuzzis, although the outside pool could benefit from more heating. The room, while spacious, felt a bit outdated for a 4-star hotel. Service facilities fell short of expectations, with room for improvement in aspects like providing better slippers, consistent shampoo refills, and more thorough daily cleaning and towel changes. On the positive side, room service was efficient, and the food stood out with great taste and generous portions. The view from the room over the lake is outstanding.

We absolutely loved this hotel. The service we received from the amazing staff was absolutely exceptional and have never experienced such friendly and helpful staff particularly Anze on reception and Rezna in the wellness centre and the whole breakfast and room service team. Thank you to them all! Rooms were lovely and spacious. However, the only negative was the fact that the AC didn’t work very well and it was cooler outside than in our room (we were kindly provided a fan) and this let the rooms down. It would be great if they updated their entertainment system a little so we could watch movies (unfortunately the only option was one satellite channel). We left this hotel feeling balanced and refreshed and would definitely return. I’d like to thank once again the lovely staff who went out of their way to make my birthday stay a very special time!
