The response to the new coronavirus epidemic was too slow! I was originally scheduled to check in on 1/28, but when I asked agoda customer service to call the hotel on 1/26, I got the message that the hotel "is not accepting guests to comply with government policies." agoda immediately helped me cancel the reservation for a double room, but ignored me There is also an order for another triple room. From 1/26 to 1/27, I could no longer call agoda’s customer service number, and it wasn’t until the morning of 1/28 that I contacted agoda customer service. But since January 26 to the present (the original departure date of January 28), I have not received any notification from Chongqing Washe. In other words, if I had not taken the initiative to ask and still went to Chongqing according to the original itinerary, I would have known that Washe no longer accepts foreign tourists. Knowing that hotel staff must be very busy during this period, but "at least" they should notify overseas guests of cancellation via email first, right?
