ROMAC - Campo Marzio

I want to start by saying that this is the first review I have ever written. When we checked into Campo Marzio, everyone was helpful and accommodating. The room we stayed in was so unique and decorated in such a fun way. The only thing that I would view as a potential downside is that you can hear through the walls as they are very thin. I sleep with white noise so that wasn’t a problem for me. The reason I am actually writing this review, however, is to talk about the evening desk attendant, Fabio. After walking all day in the biting wind I just wanted to find a hot drink. I ordered what I thought would be hot chocolate. I had read that the hot chocolate would be different in Europe but was not fully prepared for the fact that it was basically a chocolate bar melted. I did my best to try to sip on it as we walked back to the hotel. When we arrived, I showed it to Fabio and he immediately got a different mug, steamed some milk, and mixed some of the chocolate into it. He was so kind and helpful - even at 8 pm. Yes, it was a small thing, but frankly the service that we had had in other places in Rome left much to be desired in terms of kindness. I was very impressed. I think that anyone who seems to like their job as much as Fabio deserves a great review…and maybe a raise!
