Stayed here last month for the price and location its excellent the place is a bit dated but clean with good staff. Im booking here again next visit to Bangkok

Clean, friendly and in a great central location. Super easy access to food and shopping all of which are within minutes of the hotel. Facilities in hotel were adequate and due to good hygiene I enjoyed my stay here. Pool facilities were good with towels provided. While dated this is a well managed hotel and worth considering for the price.

Great hotel for the price (I paid just about 1,890 Baht, but there are cheaper rooms). The new rooms are very nice. The beds are huge and very comfortable. There is a new flat screen TV with many channels. The Internet is very fast and reliable. AC is very strong and can be kept on even when you aren't in the room (a rarity in Thailand hotels now). The bathrooms are very clean with strong water pressure in the shower and a bath tub as well (also nice big towels). The swimming pool is big and very relaxing (only wish it opened later than 7:30pm). The buffet has a good variety of food. It is really tough to beat the value for the convenience of this classic hotel!

I have been stopping here for 30 years on and off. During that time I am glad to say little has changed other than steady room upgrades. The rate still includes breakfast and a welcome drink but no Bangkok post under the door these days. The room had a brand new bathroom and the usual huge comfy bed. Swimming pool with free towels is top class. Breakfast is still exactly the same as when I first stayed with the exception of no iced water. The tour desk has the same service, staff and even typewriter as those distant days. The only downside is the replacement of coffee shop and Golden bar with the dreaded hooters. Also the closure of the cocktail lounge. Here’s to the next 30.

One of the Nicest things about the old Nana hotel is their courtesy toward Farang. If you don't know what I mean you/ve never been there. - Additionally the food is seriously excellent , no exaggeration. If you don't want to play games, this place has American and British food and not bizaar foods. - As it is written " This place is a Farang Stronghold' there are fancier hotels , but if you just want to feel comfortable and perhaps even meet some friendly Americans, Brits, Canadians, Dutch, Irish, Germans, Italians, French . the hotel is a foriegners people hotel and its true the staff are great also offers bus tours cam and Lao also has smashing pool for real .
