Good spacious room, swimming pool was ok but get in early in the day, by late afternoon it smelt of urine. Friendly staff. If you have a car you can drive out to Ba Vì to hike but not much else of quality in the area. Breakfast was nothing special from a western perspective and although lots of juices no coffee was on offer - the first time I’ve seen this in Vietnam. There is another small cafe on site for gold drinks, prices are a little high. Suggest you shop in advance to bring drinks and snack to the villa. Nice to try the once, not sure if we would return - largely because the area is uneventful after you’ve hiked to see the church and prison ruins in the forest, and the pagodas and Uncle Ho’s temple.

As consulted by Tico Travel company we spent last weekend at this place. The Tico staff gave incorrect information about the swimming pool, jacuzzi pool and others. The villa is old withbad interior design and furnishing. It is in degrading condition with damp ceiling and walls. The kitchen cupboard is smelly. There are mosquitos in the bedrooms. There are no curtains in the living room and guests of neighboring villas can see each other unexpectedly! No privacy at all. Swimming pool is so small (not big as said by Tico’s staff) and there are sharp items on the bottom of the pool. The staff said there is a basket ball yard but in fact there is no such yard but a basket only😂There is nothing for outdoor seeing or playing except 1 bia table.Guests sang karaoke too loudly in restaurant and in villas during night time. It’s not worth spending money and time at this place at weekend, and I do not recommend you book hotels, villas and resorts through Tico company- bad experience of unprofessional, wrong and untrustworthy information and consultation by them
