First the pros, the room was clean (albeit quite dated) and the location is great for gigs at Alexandra Palace, and the price is reasonable for the location (although no breakfast included). Having said that the walls are paper thin and even the quietest neighbours will keep you awake, and the mattress was so hard it was like sleeping on a sheet of plywood. Fine for an evening but I wouldn't want to stay for several nights.

Great place to stay if visiting the area. Staff were friendly - everything worked - room and hotel looked clean and looked after. Only negative is that you have to park on the road and sometimes it's difficult to find a space

I had to choose this place because it was a short walk from Jackson's Chapel. Reading the previous reviews my expectations were quite low. To my surprise I found a nice, clean place to stay. My room was small and the toilet had issues in the morning, but it had a large window overlooking a nice, quite street. You have to consider what you get for the price you paid, and that was good. A big thank you to the lovely chamber woman who always greeted me with a smile and who kept my room nice and tidy for the five nights I was there. The bed was also very comfortable.
