The staff were excellent. We had a few complaints about the rooms, however staff sorted them out quickly and with a positive attitude every single time. One thing we loved was how they provide coffee and tea refills, as well as water refills all free. Any situation or thanks was met with an amazing attitude and allowed us to continue to love the experience. The hotel was an overall positive experience.

Don't be deceived by the Google images. Rooms were huge but not clean and badly maintained. Bedsheets were dirty. The bed I slept was sinking in. My husband's room looked like a haunted place. The ceilings were black in colour. The walls too. Luckily only one night we booked. The buffet dinner was good. Staffs were good. Only setback was the poor maintenance of the rooms. Not my go to hotel the next time I'm in Kandy and also will not recommend to anyone.

We stayed in this hotel booked by MakemyTrip, the rooms are big but furniture is completely worn out , you won’t be able to figure whether you are sitting on the floor or on the sofa - it just completely sinks in. The restaurant food is as bad as the dull and gloomy restaurant and I guess the chef really doesn’t know how to cook. We ordered a Margarita pizza and they served us a cold pizza base with ketchup and few tomato slices and maybe mayo spread on it - completely disgusting and upon pointing this out they heated the same in microwave and bought it back which we refused to eat. The waitress was rude and the restaurant manager quite annoying - Overall a very bad experience. Still wondering why is it a 4 star hotel , I would definitely not recommend anyone to stay here.

I recently attended a wedding at this venue, and I must express my disappointment with the overall condition. The main banquet hall, which I expected to be in top-notch shape considering the hotel's popularity, turned out to be a letdown. The decorations were outdated, emitting an unpleasant odor that marred the entire experience for everyone present. The crockeries and cutleries seemed to have a cheaper look, not living up to the hotel's name, and the chairs and tables were in a similarly worn-out state. To add to this, the staff appeared inexperienced and almost temporary, possibly hired just for the event. While the taste of the food was acceptable, the hygienic conditions left much to be desired given the exhibited state of the venue. I sincerely hope this review is taken into consideration, and improvements are made promptly to enhance the overall experience for future events.
