Great location. Very clean. Onsite manager very friendly and professional. Apartment is old school Miami so given that this rental is probably a great deal. The cost elsewhere would warrant 4 star type of room so had to give 3 just as a good description. But I'm sure for market rate being 2 blks form the beach and much of Miami being old school, it could easily be 4 star ⭐ 😂.

The only thing this hotel has going for it is the pool bar and a bartender named Kevin. Drinks and food at the pool bar and bartender was awesome! Besides that the hotel is horrible. Last stop in Miami on our way home from our honeymoon in Hawaii and boy did we regret it!! When we checked in they promised to upgrade us to a suite. Then when we went into our room it wasn’t a suite. Then the manager told us they didn’t have any suites in the hotel doesn’t offer upgrades. Major confusion. Next they had the second pool closed the entire day for a small cocktail party that began at 6 PM. Why would the pool be closed the entire day for a party that began at 6PM? Coming back from dinner we witnessed an employee going into our room, with a do not disturb sign on the door, to deliver dry cleaning that was not ours. When we complained to management they simply said sorry and did not care about our safety. And lastly the beach chairs look they look like they were pulled out of a dumpster. Seams are ripped apart stuffing was coming out and all the paint was peeling on the metal. I wish I could attach pictures to show. Wasn’t just one beach chair it was all of them!! Hotel needs major upgrades. Complained to Marriott and Bonvoy members but no one seemed to care about my complaints. I want my Bonvoy points back that I wasted in this hotel!!

Overall, we had a good experience and the staff was friendly! The AirBnB host was accommodating too. We did have a brief moment of pause to decide if we wanted to cancel and change reservations because the building was unappealing but it was fine. I think if you’re looking to stay here - perhaps decide what is important for you: (1) proximity or (2) appearance. If proximity to everything is important, then this location is a knock out; everything is within walking distance or a short Uber ride and the restaurants are great! Can’t beat it with the price. With a great location, parking will be a challenge, therefore Uber or prepare to circle twice for street parking which you pay. If rooming/appearance is important then this space might dampen your experience because of hotel logistics and appearance. It’s no resort in Spain but you can rest your eyes with occasional outside noise. Either you like it because of the location to the beach—or dislike it because of its appearance.

The location was ideal, the rooms were half decent. The outside of lobby of the hotel gives motel but the rooms were fine. However they charge crazy fees for lost keys and even charge an “extra guest fee” for anyone else you may bring in. We were also charged $100 for a missing key so dont lose it. Would’ve gave them a higher rating if it wasnt for these extra fees that should not be a thing especially when we booked through Vrbo. Also if you book through an air BNB you do not get towels or room service or anything like that.
