Florence is full of limited traffic zones (ZTL zones). Watch out or you will get tons of fines even a year later from Italy! Its 90 eur if you pass one! Get a map, because gps does not detect them. And don’t believe when they say they will cancel your fine. They told us that in Excelior garage. I would never go back to Florence with a car. Such a shame that locals don’t warn you about that when they rent apartaments. Other than that- the apartament is good! Just don’t go near that area with a car.

Apartment 5 minutes from Santa Maria Novella station and 10/15 minutes from the centre. Nice and spacious but the prices are a little high compared to the services it offers. As soon as we arrived, the floor was dirty and there was a strong smell of paint in the room. There is no safe and a wardrobe to store clothes. The bathroom door risks coming off because it is not securely fixed. The room was cold at night. On the other hand, comfortable beds. The entrance door is thin and unsafe and seems like it could be opened externally at any moment so you are afraid of leaving things unattended in the room.
