This is a fine hotel near the Camino. Our room was quite large and comfortable. The climate system was functional, and the water was hot. This hotel offered the best pilgrim meal that we had on the Camino! They really try hard to make you feel welcome.

This is one of the most wonderful hotels I have stayed in, and remains a strong and firm favourite. I have stayed at this hotel on five occasions in the last four years, and have always found the same standard of excellence on every visit. The staff are very friendly, attentive and pleasant. The roos arej exceptionally clean, and very comfortable. Temperature control in the rooms is very efficient. This hotel is located very conveniently to Santiago de Compostela (Rosalia de Castro) Airport (SCQ). The hotel offers a shuttle service to and from the airport which is an invaluable service. It's important to note that despite the convenience to the airport this often brings concerns of noise from aircraft movements, well, yet again, the Ruta Jacobea have been one step ahead. The windows and insulation are such that I have never heard noise of an aircraft movement during my stay. The food is the jewel in the crown of this wonderful hotel! The service is superb, the dining room is beautifully furnished, the tables are dressed in quality linens and the atmosphere is calm, reserved and comfortable. I have eaten several dishes over the duration of my visits, however my firm favourite has to be the lamb chops. My second favourite would be the Entrecōte. Be sure to try the delicious local made "Arzua" cheese - this one of the most delicious cheeses! Enjoy your stay here, I have no doubt you will!
