Overall good experience! A fun way to experience Stockholm. I would say pretty good value for the price. You can add the breakfast buffet for 120 SEK per person, which we did for one morning. I would recommend this if you are considering it, definitely worth the ~$10. There is also a dinner restaurant which we did not go to but they give you a coupon for it. The rooms are very minimalistic. The boat could get a bit noisy but no significant issues.

A friend chose Rygerfjord for a group of four of us on a Stockholm, for a gig by a certain enormous, American musician (with a religious name). Accommodation options were understandably lean and frankly extortionate that weekend (even by Stockholm's already inflated standards), so Rygerfjord was a great choice for affordability and location. However, any photos found online proved optimistic. Issues with availability and maintenance meant one of the rooms booked wasn't available so the provided alternative was a shared bunk cabin (with a bathroom shared by multiple rooms). My friend got a 'suite' so faired better. A last minute cancellation though allowed me to nab a private room on request (for more money), with the tiniest and most impractical wet room I have ever seen. This was fine but really, this hotel needs to do some work on upkeep. Pillows the size of a cushion (just one in fact) was all that was provided in a tired looking set-up. I think in the summer the vibe of drinks on the hotel deck by the water might be great, which would balance the obvious compromise on room quality (we were there in October). Staff were lovely though and this helped. Building work taking place also meant rooms (many of which missing curtains) overlooked piles of wood and lazy looking tradespeople. The whole experience really could be tidied up with the price still staying low. Ultimately, I think it comes down to a little more care being taken. Budget shouldn't mean this shabby no matter how lovely the staff are.

Our "lake view" room was not great. Tiny room (the width and length of a normal bed) with a stacked bed, tiny "window" (more like a hole) to the corridor. The heater wasnt adjustable and running on full blast. The bathroom and shower are very small, and as a 1.9m guy, I had to duck to shower. Would not recommend! The kitchen is on another boat, so, you gotta go outside to reach it. The rooms were also very badly sound insulated.

We paid for a private room with en suite bathroom. The bathroom was freezing cold and couldn't heat up given the open pipework with the rest of the boat. There was ongoing construction which was not mentioned at check-in and woke us up before 8am. In a city where most places don't open until 10 or later this was very frustrating. Save your money, this place is not worth it

I had a perfectly good sleep in a standard cabin with shared bathroom. I was staying only for one night, and wouldn’t have wanted to stay for more than two. But given the price and location, it’s a bargain. Happened to be allocated a sea view, where I could see the beautiful city hall across the water. Could have been cleaner, and the room needed airing, but no real complaints. Toilet flush was loud, so I could hear in my room, but thankfully no one seemed to need the loo in the wee hours. Had to wait a while for the bathroom to be free in the morning, so patience required if you book the shared option.
