Quiet location close to restaurants and other services. 10 minute scooter ride to Nai Harn beach. Beautiful private pool.Clean, airy, comfortable villa. Very helpful villa managers and all stuff working there.

we loved everything about the villa. The rooms are clean, big, good bed, great great bathrooms. the pool is awesome, so is the deck and lounge chairs etc. location is good too, very quiet yet close (10 minute drive to NaiHarn) to the beaches on the southern (and nicer) half of Phuket island. They have a kitchen, that’s not fully equipped tho, so if you want to cook, you gotta get seasonings etc. a good bakery is a 10 minute walk away, great breakfast there (@bakery Phuket) has a washer and dryer for your clothes. If you use too much power, they will charge you extra! only negative, and this is fairly significant. check in: this is basically kinda like an airbnb, so you have to set up a time to meet the staff member of tropiclook. our girl wasn’t really friendly at all and then during our stay she would text me and be like ‘today at 2pm the electrician comes to check on the internet.’ - nothing was wrong with the internet and ‘hello? we are on vacation, why can’t you fix stuff before you have guests??’ I texted back saying nothing is wrong with the internet and she said ‘ok’ - but then at 3pm the internet guy still showed up. the tropiclook staff I guess has keys to the properties and he just opens the front gate, rings the bell and looks through the windows to see if anybody is home. How about that for privacy?? and for checkout, for some reason she didn’t want to get up in the morning when we leave I guess, so she proposed to meet us the evening before we leave to see if the villa is still intact, so we said that’s fine. so she texts and asks if we’re home at 5.45 to check. I said we might still be at the beach then to watch the sunset. so she texts back and asks ‘when will you be home?’ - and I didn’t respond quickly enough, because I was on vacation? and then she texts ‘Hello?’ I told her we don’t know, we are on vacation, we don’t have a set schedule, but we’ll probably be home from 3-4. so she says she’ll meet us at 4. then at 3pm some other girl shows up, a much friendlier one, and says she’s been told we want to check out now. TropicLook should probably sort some things out there. So the place is great, but the staff situation is not very user friendly to say the least.

Villa was nice and clean, the pool is small but deep enough, staff are friendly. They have a menu for breakfast so you can choose from it, breakfast to be delivered to your villa in a food basket they don't have a restaurant for villas residents

This is a great villa which I would thoroughly recommend to anyone staying in Rawai. The pool is nice and deep and there is a decent garden and deck chairs to relax on. The villa is a good size and comes with a fully functional kitchen, large fridge/freezer and fast internet. The fact there was a washing machine and drying rack is also a great bonus. The service staff were wonderful and villa regularly cleane and towels changed. The security guard was always friendly and quite to raise the boom gate on our arrival/departure (no napping on the job!). The only criticism I have about the property is that the bed was very hard, and that's coming from someone who likes a firm bed. Location wise, I would suggest taking advantage of the free parking and hiring a vehicle. I rented a scooter and equipped with this, was under 5 minutes from a number of the best rated restaurants in Rawai and under 20 minutes from neighbouring tourist attractions. The only disappointment was the property manager. She was 2 hours late for our check-in and we were made to wait outside in the midday sun for over an hour before she offered to have someone open the villa for us. When she did arrive, there was no apology and she was quite abrupt through the entire check-in process. She clearly wasn't familiar with the property as she didn't know how to use the safe (it ended up locked closed with us unable to open it), told us we could order taxis through the "concierge phone" in the property when we couldn't and took 24hrs to find us a working key for the utility room despite numerous promises we would have it within hours. Needless to say, spending the first day of my holiday waiting around the villa to receive a key was not ideal. Even more bizarrely, two days later she turned up at 21:30 unannounced and when I opened the door she started complaining that I "should have given her more notice of our checking out" and letting herself into the villa without invitation. Pointing out I hadn't spoken to her at all that day, she realised she had gone to the wrong property and left; again without an apology. Check-out was relatively quick and she arrived on time but was again a cold experience as she was more interested in her phone than returning our salutations (literally didn't even return a "goodbye"). This whole experience did somewhat dampen my enjoyment of the holiday which was a real shame as the villa and Phuket were both wonderful. It is also worth noting that they want a 10000 baht deposit at check-in (CASH). We were able to convince her to take the deposit in our home currency so that we weren't left with a large amount of foreign currency at the end of our holiday which was good of her but really it would be good if TropicLook could devise an alternative arrangement for taking a deposit. Finally, I must say that all other TropicLook employees I spoke to (via WhatsApp) were very polite and helpful. With new [property] management, I would love to return to this villa!
